Kat's POV ·
Here I sit in my twin brother's car listening to him talk to his girlfriend on the phone.
"No, you hang up. No, you hang up. No, you hang up!" said my brother as he was talking to the girl he'd been dating for two years, Ashley. She was short, blonde, had green eyes, and her and my brother were in love.
I'd finally had enough of this stupidity so I grabbed his phone from him and said "Hey Ash. It's Kat."
"Kat! I miss you so much!"
"I miss you too. We have to go. Devon will call you later."
"Okay! Just tell him I love him."
"I will" I said with a sigh. I wasn't really looking forward to starting my senior year of high school. When I got there my two of my best friends, Joey and Abby, were waiting for me.
"Kat!!" they screamed in unison.
"Hey guys, I missed you!" I yelled back
They came up to me and trapped me in a bear hug. Since they had already gone to their lockers, they walked me to mine.
"Girl, you look so cute today!" Abby told me. I was wearing a blue silk tank top with white shorts that my long legs made look even shorter and sandals. My hair was in a messy bun.
"Um, thanks." I replied, not really seeing how I could look "cute" but I wasn't going to argue with her.
I shut my locker and turned to walk down the hallway, but when I turned I ran into a rock hard chest. I looked up to see the hottest guy in the school, Kyle Rivers, looking down at me with a smirk on his face.
"You've got to be kidding me." I said and he laughed. He laughed.
"Why hey there cutie." said Kyle, still smirking.
"Uh. H-hi." I stuttered. He was so attractive that I couldn't even think straight around him let alone talk to him. He was 6'1 with brown hair and bright green eyes. I've had a crush on him since first grade when i saw him for the first time. He'll never like me. He's the school badass and I'm a good girl.
"Better watch where you're going. Wouldn't wanna mess up that pretty little face of yours."
"Uh. Okay. Sure." What the hell is wrong with you?! i screamed to myself in my head. Luckily I don't blush very often because if I did my face would have been on fire and red as a tomato.
"See you around Kat." he said over his shoulder as he walked away.
Kyle's POV -
She looked so cute when she stuttered. Today she looked gorgeous in her blue tank top, white shorts, and sandals. I've had my eye on Kat since first grade when we first made eye contact. She never looked at me the way i did her. Every time her light brown, wavy hair swings around I beg for her brownish-yellow eyes to meet my green ones. She was taller than most girls at school, she was about 5'9. Kat had long legs, oh those legs.
"Oh Kyle." said a high pitched voice that brought me back to reality. It was the head cheerleader who I hated. She liked me and it was extremely annoying how she kept throwing herself at me like most girls. That's another I like about Kat, she never threw herself at anyone. She stayed under the radar until sports came around.
"What do you want Amber?" I almost growled at her.
"No need to be snippy darling, just seeing how my boyfriend is doing."
"How many times do I have to tell you that I'm not your boyfriend and never will be?" I asked annoyed.
"Aw baby don't be like that. We both know you want me" Amber whispered in my ear.
"You're delusional." i retorted. The truth is that I only wanted Kat. She was a good girl and not a slut like most girls around here.
"Whatever. You will change your mind soon enough."
"In your dreams."
amber stomped away. I had pissed her off yet again and I didn't care at all.
hey guys! this was probably really short, but most of my chapters will be around this lenght. what do you think so far? let me know!
