AUTHOR'S NOTE
Everyone can thank my best friend for the update because she kept reminding me.
Kat's POV
In all honesty I was terrified to tell Abby what happened at the party, but I don't know why. She is my best friend and I shouldn't be afraid to tell her anything, but I was. I knew I had to do it sooner or later so I finally told her everything.
"Oh. My. God." Abby repeated over and over again, getting louder each time. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU FRICKING KISSED AIDEN OH MY GUMMYBEARS WHAT?!?!?!" she screamed. I was afraid of this.
"Actually, he technically kissed me first."
"SHUT UP YOU KISSED HIM BACK IDIOT!"
"STOP YELLING AT ME!"
"Okay, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have freaked out on you like that. I just got really excited about you kissing a very attractive guy. Is that so wrong?" Abby asked as she pouted.
"No. It's just shortly after it happened he basically ran away and I don't know why. I'm so confused. He kisses me and then runs away. What the hell did I do?" I said thinking out loud. Aiden is being so confusing and making my head hurt.
"Look, he's probably just scared you don't like him. He is shy after all. Maybe him being so bold surprised him and he freaked. Don't worry too much about it." Abby said reassuringly, but I was still freaking out on the inside.
"Let's go see a movie and go shopping to get your mind off of it." she suggested.
I nodded my head in agreement. We got ready and left. The longest ride was playing so we bought a large popcorn and some drinks. Some way through the movie I started crying because the couples were all so cute and it got me thinking about Aiden and Kyle.
I told Abby I was going to the bathroom. As I was walking towards it with my head down I ran into someone. When I looked up I saw Kyle and tried to turn away, but he grabbed my arm before I could.
"Kat we need to talk." He said with pleading eyes.
"There's nothing to talk about asshole." I spit out.
"Just hear me out." he paused to see if I would try to leave or stop him from talking. "The only reason I kissed her was because I thought you didn't like me because you ran off. I was mad and just flat out upset that you didn't believe me and that you wouldn't listen to me. I just want you to give me a chance."
"Why should I give you a chance? You're only going to hurt me in the end" I practically whispered in respobse with my head down.
He titlted my head up, tucked some of my hair behind my ear and said "I will never hurt you. I care about you too much." He said softly. "Please give me a chance?"
I don't know what caused it, maybe it was Aiden running away from me after we kissed, maybe it was the look of sincerity in Kyle's eyes, but I said yes.
**Author's Note**
So I know it's short but I thought that was a good place to end it. I'm so sorry that I haven't been updating regularly. I'm going to try. I only have a few weeks left of school, so when that's over I'll have more time to update. Please stick with me on this story. Again I'm sorry it's short and crappy but next chapter will be better.
