Rough texture scraping against his spine, Hoseok opens his eyes to be met with blurry colors of green and brown all fused together to form a murky blend. He was disoriented, yet the more he made sense of his surroundings, the greater his rush of alarm began to develop. What was he doing lying on the ground?
When an overly large shadow suddenly blocks his view of the dirt, the blonde-haired male indolently lifts his head from the tree he was apparently leaning against and squints his eyes to peer at the figure.
His weary vision slowly adjusting to the transition in light, he discerns that a certain male with black hair was crouching in front of him with crinkled brows, his mouth moving as if he were forming words but Hoseok couldn't comprehend a single sound.
"Huh?"
"Hoseok, I said you just collapsed. What's going on, are you alright?"
"Am I... Am I alright?" Hoseok repeats.
Jin, who had decided to drop by the cafe earlier than usual to make sure the burnt smell caused by his thick-witted friends was completely rid of - noticed the blond-haired male passing by casually under the tree. Chuckling, he went inside after greeting Jimin and tidied up the place for a bit with the short male, who usually worked alone for the first couple hours of opening.
But that was a while ago. Now that he was leaving the cafe once again, he noticed Hoseok was still underneath the tree, except his body was being supported against the trunk, his head drooping at an uncomfortable angle. Immediate concern rushing through his body at such a sight, Jin ran to see what was going on.
He truly thought Hoseok was simply strolling by to maybe enjoy the fresh air underneath the cool shade of a tree—
But now that he was trying to help the blonde-haired male stand after trying to get an answer out of him, already concerned by the way his eyes were sunken and face drained - His panic entirely shoots up when Hoseok's body slumps forward once again, his head falling unconsciously against Jin's shoulder.
It didn't take much to know he wasn't alright now.
"Hey, Hoseok!"
"He's not getting up, I'm scared, what if—"
"No, look at his hand, you can see him moving a little bit."
