Isn't a night view such a cruel thing A magnificent sight of somebodies' thorns

With his head resting against the headboard of the bed tiredly and legs splayed out neatly in front of him, Hoseok scrolls through his phone mindlessly, finger double-tapping on posts of pretty artworks and celebrities he could care less about anymore.
The music had ceased and by the silence that ensued after it, he could only assume everyone else was either resting or partaking in their own individual activities as well. Which was good, because it allowed him to collect himself and make sure his irritated eyes had lessened in its obviously troubled color.
He didn't want to deal with anyone anymore, he wanted to go home without being interrogated or having to go through the hassle of 'oh, at least stay for dinner' or anything about him being sick.
After realizing what thought had just crossed his mind, Hoseok grimaces guiltily. He didn't want to think like that. It was selfish of him when clearly they were just taking care of him more than what was expected— but he didn't think he could keep the front up any longer. Not like he used to. A simple bright smile took so much effort and he felt even more empty by the end of it all. It was draining.
"Fuck." Hoseok breathes as he presses the palms of his hands to his eyes. Throughout practically the entire day thus far, all he'd been doing was thinking about how he wanted to go home. He didn't appreciate what his friends had been doing for him. He didn't think he properly even thanked them, for shit's sake.
But less than five minutes ago, his head had begun pounding relentlessly. It would decrease into a dull throb only to come back in full force once more.
The blonde-haired male had been denying it, but now he could really tell how poorly he'd been taking care of his body. From throwing up more than a few times, fainting in public, being told he had a fever and then suffering a headache... it couldn't possibly be any more obvious that he just needed a healthy break.
Except the problem was that he needed a break from himself and he didn't know how to do that.
Exhaling deeply, Hoseok stands and slips his phone into his pocket. He made up his mind. He'll just thank everyone and then ask Yoongi to drop him off at home so he could get try and get a better rest.
Grasping his hoodie from earlier, he musters up the courage to go into the living room and peeks his head around the corner.
Although, to his disappointment, he finds a sleeping Jin and Jungkook huddled together on the couch and Jimin leaning back on a chair with droopy eyes, on the verge of dozing off as well.
