Where in the World is Arthur Romano?

I walked next to Arthur's mother as fast as my legs could carry me, the rest of the group right behind me. She looked back and forth widely, looking almost like a cornered animal and she gripped a picture of Arthur like it was the last thing she had of him. Mrs. Romano stopped and walked off from the group, calling her son's name at the top of her lungs.

"Mrs. Romano-"

"No, YN!" She cried, holding her picture close to her chest. "I have to find him. I have to find my baby. It doesn't matter where he could be."

Fuck.

"Let me go!" I yanked my hand away from Alois' and scowled at him. "Fine, yeah, I did hear your little plan to lock me away, Assholes, and yeah- I figure out that Samson would be at the fair."

Ciel cocked an eyebrow and a smug smirk spread across his face. I could tell if he was amused by fake smugness or he knew something I didn't. "Oh? How'd you do that?"

"Well," I pulled out my phone that had been sitting on the kitchen counter since we first got back. "If you look on the festival's website, there's a picture of a magician in a mask."

The mask was a lot creepier than anyone would expect. It was like the Comedy and Tragedy masks had been split in half and made into one. Though that's not what made it creepy, it was the fact it was painted over to make it look like a clown, Samson was a major creep.

I threw my phone on the table, it landing with a loud thud. Alois looked to me before pulling it toward him and he made face. It was something between reminiscing the day he came to my world and confusion. Finally, he slid it over to Ciel who stared at it for a few moments and sighed.

"Well, get us tickets and forget about what we said earlier," Ciel stood up and extended a hand. "Please accept my apologies."

I stood there shocked for a few moments before hesitantly taking it. His hands were surprisingly warm. "You never seem to have a moment where you don't shock at least one person, do you?"

He tilted his head a little and gave a small smile. "A good player doesn't reveal his best cards all at once."

I started to say something when there was a knock at the front door. I turned back with furrowed eyebrows then started towards it. Before I turned the knob there was another frantic knock, almost shaking the door. Swinging it open, Arthur's mother stood on the other side looking like she hadn't slept or showed in days.

"Mrs. Romano?"

She finally stopped pacing and looked at me, finally registering that I was there. "YN, have you seen Arthur? Is he here?" She tried to look behind me to only see Sebastian. "Is Arthur in there? Arthur!"

"Mrs. Romano, I haven't seen Arthur for days. I thought he was at home all this time. Peter might know where?" I said calmly.

She brought her hand up to her mouth and let out a sob, shaking ever so slightly. "I-I need you to take me to Peter's. I can't find my son."

I nodded and slipped on my shoes, calling out to Sebastian and Claude, knowing they would be the only ones who could help out at all, to come with us. With that, we were well on our way.

I knocked on Peter's door and waited a minute, Mrs. Romano pacing around behind me. It took a few minutes for him to answer the door, but when he finally did I had to step back as he lunged forward at me. Claude stepped between us and pushed Mrs. Romano forward as she shakingly pulled out the photo.

"Have you seen Arthur?" She gasped in a sob, but the tears streamed down her face. "Have you seen him? Please."

For the first time in my life, I actually saw Peter look sympathetic for someone else. His face dropped into a morbid expression, his lips forming a pout and eyes softening. "Mrs. Romano, I'm sorry, but the last time I saw Peter was the other day with- what's his name, YN? It was the blonde guy you were with the other day."
