Lip Sync Battle (We All Know What's Coming)

'Public approval is really down.' Maria and Fury are over, discussing plans with the Avengers.

'Well the public opinion on us doesn't stop us from doing our job.' Sam didn't want to be there at all.

'Yeah, but if the public doesn't like what we're doing, they'll sympathise with the villains, and guess who then looks like the villain.' Rhodey and Sam are not the greatest of buds to say the least.

'Well, the government is gonna best your ass if you don't do something to improve it now.'

'Why would the government even be on us Fury?'

'I don't know, maybe you just drop into people's countries and drop buildings on them.'

Peter had been sitting on the couch lying on Tony when Fury came in and had not bothered to stand back up. 'Why don't you do a charity event?' Peter often visited the kids at the children's hospital and bought gifts for them whilst he was Spider Man. To be honest, it made his day to see their smiling faces.

'See, the young one is smarter than the lot of you.'

'Tell us something we don't know.'

Peter elbowed his dad playfully. 'So I will just send some money to a charity.'

'No Tony, the public needs to see you doing good acts.' Bruce lay there contemplating on the largest sofa chair.

'I hear there's a new lip sync trend. Do it as a charity event, we add 2 dollars to every dollar donation and they see us as kind and stupid.'

'Natasha, you're a genius.'

'I'd say I could even get Spider-Man involved.'

'Natasha you're amazing, but not even Rhodey and I could get him.'

'Well maybe just ask him nicely.'

'Fine then, I'll leave you at it.'

2 hours after the meeting, Peter just finished the last of his Physics homework as Natasha knocked on the door.

'Come in Asha!'

She stepped in and closed the door with the elegance and grace of a leopard. 'So, Can Spider-Man come to the Lip- Sync battle?'

Peter turned from his homework to look at his aunt. 'I don't know. Tony and Steve will expect me to be there.'

'Sickness?'

'They'll instantly send me to Bruce who will know what's going on.'

'School event?'

'Dad gets notified if any come up.'

'Traffic jam????'

'We live in the same building!'

Natasha sighed and lay back on Peter's bed. 'Is there someone's concert on that night?'

'Probably, it's New York.'

'I'm buying you a ticket, and you will go with your friend.'

'Ned will definitely want to come to the Lip Sync Battle.'

'MJ?'

'Maybe?'

'We'll take a maybe. Bye Peter.'

The date was set. Everyone had been training and rehearsing, Spider-Man in his full Spandex, which turned out not to be a very smart decision.
