Homecoming Prep

Peter sprinted into the main room of the tower where Rhodey and Vision were laying on the couch, 'No, the walking dead has just gotten worse and worse, we're not watching it.'

'UNCLE RHODEY!! I need help!'

'Kid, calm down, what is it?' Rhodey stayed firmly on the couch so Peter ran over and leapt on to the couch, his eyes bulging out of his head when he said, 'I've a date for homecoming.'

'Just like your old man huh?' Rhodes ruffled Peter's hair before asking for a name and description in detail.

'Well her name is Liz, and she's really nice, like super nice and sweet. And she's quite tall, like taller than me, and she has long slightly curled hair, but it's not like reeeeaally long.'

'I think you've got a great girl Pete. So what do you need my help with?'

'How does one get ready for homecoming?'

'How long have you got?'

'A week.'

'Holy Sh-' 'Language' piped up Vision from beside Rhodey. 'We do have a challenge, but heroes always do.'

'Hey kiddo.' 'Hey Pete!' 'How's baby Cap?'

'Hi Pops, Asha, Sam, And Sam, I'm not baby Cap.'

'Well I disowning you as my nephew if you're baby Iron Man.'

Peter heard Steve telling Sam to shut up over the line, and it gave Peter a second to collect himself, he hadn't spoken to his dad in a long while, and he missed him, he missed him too much.

Nat had obviously grabbed the line and left Steve and Sam to their bickering.

'So, any news?'

'I GOT A DATE FOR HOMECOMING!'

'Ohhhhh, who is she? Or he?'

'Her name is Liz-'

'Give me a full name kiddo.'

'What? Why?'

'How else am I meant to find out everything on her?'

'ASHA.'

'Sorry, yes you have a date. When is homecoming?'

'A week.'

'Are you ready?'

'No.'

'When did you acquire this date?'

'This morning.'

'PETER.'

Peter heard Sam and Steve come over wondering what the commotion was.

'Hey, what's up Pete?'

'Steve, Peter got a date for homecoming but is the most unorganised child. I blame that on you.'

'Have you seen Tony's workshop?'

A little giggle from everyone was heard before Steve Asked, 'Does Tony know?'

Peter froze for a second, does he tell them? Hey Pops, I've been a superhero for a few months, but I messed up so Tony took my suit and now we aren't talking, plus he's always out of the house organising the new avengers facility.

'Yeah.'

Peter heard Sam calling on them to end the call in case of tracking.

'Bye kiddo, with Tony at your side, you'll do great!'

'Bye Pops, love y-'

And the crew hung up.
