Warning: Gore
I hang back behind everyone, sitting in my room and staring at the colors until I have to leave to go to class. I don't walk with everybody else, so I walk to class alone, in awe as I look around at all of the colors, filled with joy and excitement, sight was so much better than I remember it. I take a long time getting to class, strolling carelessly down the sidewalk.
I get to the class room an open the door.
My breathe is taken away, I gasp for air and stare at my friends.
Why hadn't they told me? How had I not realized?
I saw them, missing arms, eyes, even legs, and covered in scars.
"Are you okay Midoriya," Iida asks sincerely, as if not bothered by his lack of hair. His head had a few patches, other spots burned bald, and a huge gash in his left arm.
"Wh-," Stuttering, I gag and gasp for breathe, "What happened to you guys?"
"What are you-," Uraraka inquires, confused and with the bottom half of her right leg missing, "Oh my god, Deku! You have- you have your sight back."
"We're," Kirishima apologizes, missing a few fingers and an ear, "We were going to tell you, but we- but we didn't want to scare you."
"Well- Well you should have told me, I wanted to know, You guys were so insistent me telling you what was happening me, but you... but you didn't bother to tell me what was happening to you!" Running out of the classroom, I feel a lump in my throat as I stifle a sob.
I run out the school gates and into the city, dodging people and trying to go as fast as I can, jumping off building and into the sky, the wind whirling around me and the rain pouring down on my face as I soar through the air.
I see the people walking through the streets, so small and fragile. Like little ants. I felt like a god hovering over all of the tiny people. So much higher up then them.
I shake that thought out of my head quickly as I glide down onto a building, landing softly and curling up into a ball, my whole world crumbling around me.
Literally.
I look up to see the world fall away, revealing a dead field, though only sign of life being the neon city that sits miles away, glowing like a disco ball.
The biting cold wind roaring through my ears and the frigid rain pelting me, soaking through me already wet clothes.
Welcome back
I freeze up in fear. My face running pale as I sit there in terror.
I'm not going to hurt you don't worry.
This doesn't help, I still sit there still as a rock, my shoulders tense and ready to strike at any moment. I feel it approach me. Its presence lurking over me like a looming tower.
Why am I here
Why I wanted to say hi of course. I missed you.
No you don't
Now why wouldn't I
I swing around ready to face the beast, but when I see it I recoil in horror.
The sight of the rock hard claws for fingers, the red tint to its skin, the blood staining both mouths on it two heads aren't what make me throw up. The meshed clay like flesh isn't either.
No.
What makes me throw up is the sight I see at the top of its head, no not the top of its head. The lack of a top of a head.
Its forehead and places where its eyes are suppose to be are ripped off. Almost looking like the sloppily cut off, bits of flesh floating in the air, dripping with blood and scraps of skin hanging off of them.
What are-
What are you!
The creature whips around to look back at me, I wicked smirk curling up on its face, like I had just asked the question it wanted me to ask most. All four arms raise up and wide as it announces it's secret, the truth about what it is.
Why I'm God of course.
I snap back to reality, my toes on the edge of the building I had just been standing at. I lose my balance and fall.
I flail through the air the faces of people looking up at me in horror getting closer and closer.
I see a stream of Ice getting closer and closer. Just barely catching me before I hit the ground. Cushioning my fall I open my eyes to find myself in Todoroki's arms. A hole where his blue eye should have been.
I repeat the word that had revealed what the thing was.
"God"
