Danganronpa Kokichi x Kaito x Shuichi

Chapter 5

Shuichi made his way to the casino, he didn't know why, but he just did. It felt right for some reason. He cautiously looked around and saw no sign of Korekiyo. He sighed in relief and stepped in, only to feel his shoe get a bit wet. He looked down and saw blood.

Blood.

His eyes widened and he began hyperventilating. There was no way someone died! Someone must've just got injured! That's all... all it was... he looked around and saw a hand peaking around the corner, and his eyes widened, he ran around the corner and saw it. The thing he hoped he wouldn't see.

Not just one corpse. But two.

Korekiyo Shinguuji and... Kirumi Tojo...

He noticed someone walking behind him and swiftly turned around to see Kokichi.
"Eh— M-Mom? Mom's dead...?" He mumbled and for once he had a genuine look of sadness on his face. He walked to the corpse's and knelt next to them.
"Shuichi!" He heard a voice call. He stood up and saw Maki run around the corner.
"Have you seen Kiru—" Maki's eyes widened and suddenly swelled with tears.
"...kiru...mi...?" She mumbled and stared in disbelief at her corpse. Kaito came running next.
"Haruma—— Eh?! Wh-What the fuck?!?!" He hollered.

Monokuma's body discovery announcement played.
But it was all a blur for Maki.
She was gone.
Kirimi was gone.

"Harumaki..." kaito set his hand on Maki's shoulder, but she hit him away as she stayes by Kirumi's corpse. Soon, everyone made their way over.
"H-Huh? Sh-Shinguuji-san and Tojo-san?!" Tsumugi exclaimed in shock. Everyone else was shocked as well.
"...Kirumi..." Maki mumbled then stood up.
"Whoever killed her, I'll kill you... okay?" Her red eyes darted around at each person in the room, clenching her fists.

"...F-For now let's worry about investigating..."  Tsumugi stammered. Maki glared at her for a moment then nodded slowly.
"...It looked like Kiyo has many stab marks... while Kirumi just was stabbed in the throat..." Shuichi said, Tsumugi walked over and knelt by the corpses.
"I see... ah– what's that?" She asked, pointing at Kirumi's pocket. Shuichi hesitantly pulled them out.
"Scissors... they're bloody." He stated. Tsumugi's eyes widened slightly.
"Would this be the murder weapon?" Tsumugi asked. Maki grabbed him and walked to Kiyo, before sliding the scissors into the wound. Mostly everyone cringed at the sight, but Maki seemed used to it of course.
"...They match up Kiyo's wounds..." Maki then crawled to Kirumi and held the scissors by her neck, staring down at Kirumi's face. Her eyes were closed, and her mouth was open slightly, eyebrows furrowed in an angry but sad way. Maki's arm shook as she slowly set the scissors to the side and covered her eyes with ehe hands, her cold and emotionless composure breaking.
"I-I ca-can't..." she stammered and Kaito knelt by her, resting a hand on her shoulder, she shook as she cried.
"...I-...I can do it. I don't want to be useless and..." Tenko walked forward and grabbed the scissors, before hesitantly pushing them into Kirumi's throat gently. She pulled them out after a moment.
"It...they don't feel like they m-match up... the scissors made her skin tear open a b-bit more..." Tenko set the scissors down and stood up, looking at Maki with kind eyes.
"Maki...if you want you can head to your dorm and take a break..." she smiled softly, and Maki hesitated before nodding and standing up, walking away at a fast pace.
"...Umm... Sorry if this is insensitive but... Is it possible that the stab wounds on Shinguuji-san are Kirumi's doing?... It's possibly Kirumi killed Shinguuji-san, and someone else killed Kirumi, right?" Tsumugi suggested. Shuichi's eyes widened.
"I-It's possible... and... the motive for her to kill him would make sense..." he muttered, Tsumugi looked at him curiously.
  "Oh? How so...?" She asked. Shuichi hesitated. He didn't want to say, but this could be a big piece of evidence.
"Well... Kiyo... He had uhh... done something to me... I confided in Kaito, Kirumi, Maki and Kokichi... It's possible Kirumi killed him because of that..." Shuichi mused. Himiko looked over.
"Nyeh? What did Kiyo do?" She asked, causing Shuichi to have a bead of sweat roll down his face.
"...I can tell them for you Shuichi." Kokichi stated in an unusually calm tone. Shuichi glanced over and slowly nodded.
"So like... Kiyo sorta raped Shuichi." Kokichi stated casually, but there was a hint of spite in his voice. Everyone looked shocked.
"...i'm so sorry Shuichi..." Tsumugi patted him gently on the back before looking at the others.
"So... going with that, Kirumi could've killed him so she could protect Shuichi?" Tsumugi asked.
"That could be the case... but we should try and figure out some more..." Kaito muttered.
