Danganronpa Kokichi x Kaito x Shuichi

Chapter 11

"HAIIIYAHHH!!!!"

As soon as Kokichi and Korekiyo entered the dining hall, Korekiyo was greeted with a kick to the stomach, and fell over, letting out a small, feminine shriek, as Tenko stood in a fighting stance.
"Chabashira-san! What are you— Shinguji?!"
Tsumugi was in a panic as she ran over. Kokichi sighed and offered Korekiyo his hand. Korekiyo grabbed it, and Kokichi helped him up, nearly falling over due to how weak he was.
"I'm bringing him to get food— Umm... Does anyone here know how to make smoothies? He can't eat much since someone cut out his tongue."
Kokichi said. He knew it could be anyone, but he noticed Korekiyo cast Tsumugi a swift glance.
"I know how! But like i'm gonna make one for that degenerate!"
Tenko exclaimed, and Kokichi huffed.
"Anyone who's not a complete bitch?"
He asked, and Maki sighed.

"...I can."

She said coldly, to Kokichi's surprise, and Maki led them to the kitchen. She began blending Korekiyo a smoothie. Kokichi got Korekiyo some water.

"GUYS!!! KOREKIYO AND KOKICHI ARE MISSING!!!"
Kaito burst into the dining room, and Shuichi came as well a few moments later.
"K-Kaito—"

"They're in the kitchen. Kokichi brought him to get food..."
Tsumugi said, and sounded a bit shaky. Kaito quickly burst into the kitchen.
"Kokichi— are you okay?!"
He exclaimed, and Kokichi smiled at him.
"Awww! You're worried about me! I'm okay~"
He giggled, and Kaito went red in the face. He huffed and glared at Korekiyo.
"And you. Why the fuck did you hurt Shuichi?"
He asked, and noticed Korekiyo was shaking. Shuichi saw fear in Korekiyo's eyes.
Kokichi got on his tiptoes and whispered in both their ears.
"Shuichi was right. His sister in manipulating and controlling him somehow."
He said quietly, and Shuichi nodded. Kokichi stared at the smoothie being blended... It was awfully strange, how Shuichi came up with such a wild assumption... Or was it an assumption at all? Did Shuichi somehow know...?
Kokichi glanced at Kaito to see if he seemed to find that suspicious, but as he expected, it seemed that it hadn't crossed Kaito's mind.
'Idiot...' Kokichi thought, but smiled faintly. Maki stopped the blender, and poured the smoothie into a cup, then handed it to Korekiyo.
Korekiyo stared down at it, then walked to the corner of the room, not letting anyone see his face as he unzipped his mask and began drinking the smoothie. His tongue stung from the liquid pushing against the open wound, and he tasted blood. He gulped down the drink. It wasn't much, but it was wonderful to be able to have something. He did his mask up again, and walked to the kitchen. He said 'thank you' in sign language to Maki, who nodded after a moment, then walked away. Kokichi also found that a bit suspicious... Considering he thought Maki would likely kill Korekiyo if given the chance.

"...Nyeh... I-Is it really safe letting Shinguji-kun be roaming free...?"
Himiko asked, and Kokichi smiled brightly and shrugged.
"Who knows. If not, Saihara-chan's just gonna have to—"
He cut himself off, seeing Shuichi's fearful expression. He then sighed.
"Well, i'm sure it'll be just fine... More importantly..."
His gaze moved over to Tsumugi, who seemed a bit surprised at Kokichi's condescending and judgemental glare. Everyone turned their attention to Tsumugi.
"Shirogane-chan, what's under Korekiyo's mask?"
Kokichi asked, and Tenko looked at him, confused.
"What do you mean? How would Shirogane-san know that?"
She asked sharply, in an accusing and rude voice. Kokichi smirked.
"Well, wasn't she assigned to bring him food? She'd have to take his mask off to let him eat~"
Kokichi's smile grew as he watched Tsumugi's composure slip.
"Wh-What are you suggesting Ouma-kun...?"
Tsumugi asked.

"Just answer me. What's under it?"
Ouma asked. Tsumugi spoke truthfully.
"Nothing much really... A normal face. A bit of smeared lipstick, and that's it."
Tsumugi said. Ouma nods, then glances at Shuichi with what was either a confirmative look or a glare. Nobody, not even Shuichi, knew which one it was, so the detective just looked away nervously.
