Under the tree, laid Evan and Connor, looking at the sunset before them. Staring at the scenes around them. The autumn breeze flowing through their hair, the blush that dusted their cheeks as they sat next to each other, only a couple of inches separating them. The way their eyes shined against the starlight, and the way there lovestruck eyes tried not to stare at one another, this was a sign, that this morning was going to be perfect.

They sat in the grass in silence, waiting for another to break the ice, or to leave it be. Out of nowhere, suddenly Evan's vocal cords managed to say something.
"Hey Connor."
Connor was a little in shock that Evan initiated a conversation, but none to less he answered.
"Hm?"
"Will you be ok?"
"Ok?"
"You know, like, a-at school."
Connor finally looked at Evan and looked back scoffing.
"Honestly, I don't know."

"Me neither." Evan said softly, adjusting his position up against the bark on the tree. The tree bark was very worn out, he could tell, but Evan didn't mind, he liked spending this moment with Connor. It almost made him want to cry, but it didn't.

"You know that song that you keep singing to me."

Evan eyes sparkled, the song he kept singing to him was off of Steven Universe, and Who doesn't live Steven Universe

"Y-Yeah...why?"
"...Never mind it's stupid."
Evan looked at Connor and saw the blush painted raspberry red on his cheeks and nose.
"Aw, what were you gonna say?"

The feelings that Connor had for Evan, were in one song that he absolutely adored. His ukulele he brought with him was right next to him, so in the middle of singing, Connor grabbed it and started to play it along with Evan's extraordinary singing.

As the ukulele strummed along with Evan's voice, the park they were at grew quieter, as if it could get quieter.
