Hi, I'm Melanie Richardson.

I am the most uninteresting person you will ever meet.

I am an average height, normal weight, and have the dullest brown hair. I'm 21, so what do you think I do? Go partying with my friends every night, getting drunk and doing things I'll regret the next morning?

Hah, no.

I read anything and everything I can lay my eyes on. I binge watch Disney movies in my free time. I write meaningless little stories and notes in my leather journal. The only living beings I interact with other than my two cats and the grocery clerk, are my Minecraft friends.

That's right, I play Minecraft. I'll take the title as 'nerdiest and altogether most useless person' now. Thanks.

I work for Youtube making Minecraft videos for my 15,000 subscribers. Amazing, right? How could such a boring girl with such an uninteresting life have that many fans? It still boggles my mind.

I'm getting sidetracked. As I was saying, most of the people I talk to play Minecraft, like me. Maddie (Dul) is my best friend. She is the only one able to put up with me, other than Lucy. She is my friend that doesn't play Minecraft. We met when I dropped a carton of eggs on her beautiful flats. I'm awkward and clumsy.

I'm just rambling now, aren't I?

I guess the thing that people find least boring about me is that I have a thing with dreams. I don't know why, but I find it so fascinating that you are in a whole different place when dreaming. I often use dreaming to escape reality and live a life where anything I want can happen. People think that's unique, but I find it rather weird.

My life is usually the same routine every day. But one particular morning, that changes for the better and I'm given an amazing opportunity. Life couldn't be greater. Everything happening is benefitting me.

Or maybe I'm just dreaming.
