I had to get her alone, I needed to get to know her better. Sure, the guys were suspicious and I seemed sorta creepy, but I honestly didn't care.

She's so sweet in her videos, and I just wanted to see how she was off camera.

I saw she joined the channel and greeted her.

"Hey, Mel! I can call you Mel, right?"

"Of course!", she answered with a giggle. It was so cute and sweet. What are you saying, Zach? You don't like her, you just want to get to know her better! Don't be weird about this.

"So, shall we start the tour?", I asked. I've gotta get comfortable around her.

"Sure! I know how you always introduce new members, so do you have an idea for me?"

"Yep! I already dug a little area below my goody shop by the chest, so when I check for payments, my audience sees you!"

"That's a great idea! What should I say?"

"Anything you want!"

She walked down into the area next to the chest, and I blocked the hole up. I walked to spawn, and said a countdown to begin recording.

"3, 2, 1. Hey, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the Cube SMP! Nothing much is new, but I did get some payments from my iron shop.", I said, and walked over to retrieve the payments.

"Only 2 gold blocks, boo. Oh well, I heard we have a lot of money waiting for us at the goody shop".

I walked in, broke the block, and Melanie began speaking.

"Please help me!", she fake coughed,"I've been stuck under here all night. It's dark and scary, and it smells, too."

"Well the Cube family will adopt you! You can be our baby!", I said without thinking. Oh my God, why did I say that! She must think I'm mental or something!

"Okay!", she yelled happily and blocked herself up to get out.

"So yes, this is our newest Cube member, Miss MelMC, or Melanie."

"That's me!", she answered.

"Okay, so let's do a quick tour of spawn."

We finished recording, and it was time for me to get to know her.

"So, tell me about yourself!", I said out of nowhere.

"Well, there's not much to say. I was born in Chicago, grew up, and moved to L.A on my own. Now I have two cats and an incredibly boring personality.", she said quickly.

She thinks she's boring? She's not! She's kind and funny, but it still feels like you can talk to her about anything.

"Well, thanks, I guess.", she mumbled. What? I said that aloud?! God, Zach, you are really screwing this up!

"And I also have two cats!", I said, trying to clear up the akward silence.

We talked for around half an hour more, and it seemed like we had known each other for months.

She's such an amazing person, and I don't even care what she looks like at this point.

I'd fallen for her, and she's had to be mine.

M E L ' S P O V

I finished talking to Graser. He's such a cool guy. I feel like I can tell him everything. It seems like we didn't just meet hours ago. He's a great friend.

I got off my computer to get something to eat. I looked at the time, and it was almost 6pm. I decided to call Lucy and see if she wanted to meet up.

"Hey Lucy!"

"Hey Mel, what's up?"

"I just wanted to see if maybe you wanted to grab something to eat?"

"Totally, where?"

We organized the rest and decided to meet up at a sandwich place in thirty minutes.

I took a quick shower and changed into a pair of shorts and a tank and cardigan . I slipped on a pair of sandals and looked at the time. It was 6:54.

I got to the restaurant and Lucy was already inside, ordering her food. I did the same and we sat down at a table together. I was sipping on a Strawberry Lemonade, staring at my phone, while Lucy was just looking at me.

"Are you gonna talk?", she asked jokingly and chuckled.

"Of course, sorry!"

I told Lucy about being invited to join the Cube and how exciting it was. She repeatedly told me that she had no idea what I was talking about, but it was still nice to tell someone.

We finished up and I headed home. It was nice to actually talk to someone in person. My Teamspeak friends are awesome, but it felt good to see Lucy and talk with her.

I walked inside my apartment to see Jas and Ariel sprawled out all over the couch. I grabbed a cookie and a glass of lemonade and sat in front of my computer.

I saw I had a Skype message from someone named Bee. Who is Bee? I read the message:

Bee: Meet me on TS in five minutes, we gotta talk.

So she's a Cube member?

I hopped on TS and saw one channel that only had someone named 'Heyimbee' in it.

"Hello?", I asked quietly.

"Who is this?", she replied harshly.

"I'm Melanie, and you're Bee, right?"

"Well who else would have the username 'Heyimbee'?! I needed to talk to you about something."

"Well, say it then.", I replied, also a bit mean. She had an attitude, and it was already ticking me off.

"Back off of Bayani.", she hissed. What? How does she even know I like him?

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb, every girl on the Cube is falling for Bayani, I mean, who wouldn't? And I know you will, too. So I'm here to tell you to stay in your place as the shy girl with no friends.", she said coldly.

"Who are you to tell me who I can and can't be friends with? I don't like him, and even if I did, you wouldn't be able to control that. And besides, I don't really think Jordan could be into someone pushing other girls away, so there's no point in you trying to claim him!", I yelled. That may have been harsh, but it felt good.

"Maybe I can't keep you from liking him. Maybe I'll just let you be a slut and try to date him, and then wait for him to hate you.", she said.

I left the call before I said anything to get me kicked off the Cube.

I wasn't sad, just furious. It's not my fault I'm shy. And I know that I have friends. Even if all Cube members ended up hating me, I know I'll always have Dul and Lucy.

Well, now I have a feeling I know who vetoed me.
