I was in a Teamspeak call with Bayani, Straub, Rusher, and Dul. We were all goofing around when I brought something to everyone's attention.

"Cube's getting a bit lonely, don't you think?"

"What do you mean? We don't need anybody else!", Straub said.

"Yeah! I think we are good on members for now.", Rusher agreed.

"I don't know, a new member may be alright...", Bayani piped up, rather quietly.

"I know just the person! My best friend, Melanie, would make for an amazing Cube member!", Dul yelled happily.

"And Will would be nice to have, too.", Bayani said, a bit louder this time.

"I've been wanting JWong in for a while now, also. It's settled then. Let's schedule everyone for a Teamspeak call to vote for the three new members.", I said, excited that we could agree on some new members.

"Yea, alright.", Rusher and Straub grumbled. What's wrong with them? I guess if they really don't want any new members, they can just veto the new people.

"Alright, I'm gonna go. I've gotta check out Melanie's channel to decide what I'm gonna do. Dul, what's her channel name?", I asked.

"It's MelMC. Pretty simple."

"Cool. See you guys later!"

"Goodbye!", they said in unison, and I logged off of Teamspeak and pulled up Youtube.

I typed in 'MelMC', and her channel appears at the top. I clicked on her latest video titled, 'Hunger Games with Dul: Melanie cheating?!'.

I watched the video, which gave me a few good laughs. Melanie has a very good personality and seems happy in the video. Good, we don't want a grump on the Cube. She isn't terrible at the game, either. She may not have the best aim, but she is good with a sword. I'm definitely voting for her, and I hope the majority of the members can say the same. I can't wait to meet her.

We are voting today, and I really hope Melanie makes it.

Everyone's voted and Graser is now announcing the new members.

"Looks like Kiingtong, JWong, and Melanie are our three new members! Everyone voted for both Will and JWong to be new members, and all but one person voted for Melanie.", Graser said.

What? Someone vetoed Melanie? Why? She's so sweet and charismatic, even though she claims herself as uninteresting and useless. She's everything I aspire to be; she's my best friend. I was very upset that one of my friends didn't want Melanie on the Cube.

"Who didn't want Melanie on?!", I half asked, half yelled. I said it too harshly, and now I regret my words.

"That's confidential, just between me and that person. But don't worry, she's on, even if someone doesn't want it that way.", Graser said calmly, which managed to quiet myself down.

But it still makes no sense to me.

M E L ' S P O V

I've just been told by Dul that I am invited to join the Cube! I can't wait to meet the members, especially Bayani! I wonder if he's just as sweet when he's not recording.

I am curled up on my sofa, scribbling whatever comes to my mind into my leather journal. That thing is basically me in a leather binding. It holds all my secrets, insecurities, and obsessions. I don't know what I would do if anyone else got their hands on it.

Yes, I have a tiny, eesny-weensy crush on Jordan. Dul and I both liked him, but we swore to never let him ruin what we have together. Then a few weeks ago she told me she had moved on, which I was honestly relieved about. I was getting so worried that it would end our friendship.

As I was still writing, listening to Jasmine's soft purr and some song on Pandora, I felt my phone vibrate against my foot, scaring me a little bit. It was a text from Dul, telling me the server and Teamspeak IP's. Finally I can get on the Cube!

I scrambled over to my kitchen, grabbing a package of blueberry PopTarts and pouring myself a glass of Pepsi before logging on the Teamspeak and the Cube. One of the channels only consisted of Stacy and Dul, so I assumed they were recording and decided not to join. Instead, I joined the call with Graser, Bayani, Straub, and H. Graser noticed I joined first and greeted me.

"Hey, Melanie! Glad you took up our offer and joined!"

"Well how could I say no to my favorite SMP server? Thank you so much for the invite!"

"Well, you seem like you'll be a great addition. Hope you have fun!", Bayani said kindly. He was just as sweet when he's not recording, and I was trying very hard not to be awkward around him.

"Th-thanks.", was all I said. Mel! Stop being nervous! You are just talking to your crush who is being very kind to you. I was so glad no one could see my bright red cheeks.

"Hah, nervous much?", Straub pointed out my stutter. Ugh, Straub, stop talking.

"What? No!"

"Don't be nervous, Melanie. We are all normal guys, just like you", H said, making me smile.

"And I would totally listen to you if I was a guy, H.", I said, getting laughs from Graser, Straub, and Bayani.

"Huh, good point!", H replied, giggling a bit.

"Roasted!", Graser yelled, I bursted into laughter.

"Melanie, do you wanna record the tour now?", Graser asked me.

"Sure! I guess I'll talk to the rest of you later!", I said excitedly.

"Wait, Graser, shouldn't the four of us do the tour together with the three new members?", Bayani asked. Good point.

"No, I'll take care of Melanie, you guys handle the other two.", Graser said and logged off of Teamspeak before the guys can say anything.

"That was weird...", I said. I'm already getting comfortable around the boys, even Bayani.

"Well, better get to Graser, I guess. We'll figure out what's up with him.", Straub said.

"Okay, well bye, guys!", I said happily.

The guys said their goodbyes and I left and joined the channel Graser was in. It was just going to be us.
