Reaching Out For Someone I Can't See

8- Arrival

Rizz  POV:

I opened the door of my bedroom. Once I entered my room. I swiftly put down my things and opened the light. And there was Kris and Jess laying on their bed. Yeah... they live with me right now since the are working in the same town as mine. Are they asleep?

Well for me it seems that they are just pretending because I can see the way how their eyelids move.

"Kris... Jess... i know you two are awake. Stop pretending" I said.

They ignored me. But little did they know that i've saw their little smile across from their face.

"I have a good news" with that they quickly sit up on their bed.

"You have a boyfriend?" They said synchronized.

"What? Since when did I plan to have a boyfriend huh?" Seriously... I was about to tell them that in 3 days i will be moving to South Korea.

"Well... we saw you with Jake earlier when he accompanied you here" I look over to Jess while she was talking.

"Yeah.. we saw you with him... that's why.. usually you just go home in just commuting and now you arrived here with Jake" Kris added.

"But that doesn't mean he was my boyfriend. He just gave me a lift home after bringing me to the café earlier"

"So... he's courting you now? You two just got a date earlier?" Jess spoke while i walked to sit on the bed with them.

"Of course not. We just got there because he gave the proposal to me" i swiftly said.

"WHAT? PROPOSAL" They both said. Seriously... I really now what they are thinking right now...  aisshhhh these two..

If its Jeize I would'nt even bother to think of it i will just say yes

"I know what you two were thinking... its not like that. Both of you know that i didn't even change my feelings ever since" 

Well that was true. I was referring to Jeize. They both know it.

"Oh right. Then what are you going to tell us?" -Jess

"If its not about Jake. Then what is it? What do you mean by the 'proposal' " Kris added.

"It was really the good news. Ive been dreaming of it along time" i said while smiling.

A confused look appeared on their faces. Maybe thinking of what I was going to say.

"Just say it Rizz. We don't have any clue. Well its not about your love life. Is it about your work? Are you promoted?" Kris uttered.

"I will be moving to Korea for work"

As i said that, they mouth left wide open and hug me out of blue. I will miss them... they are my best friends. If I can, I will bring them too. Its been a long time of friendship and it was great, it was the best thing to have them supporting me and hearing all of my doubts. We stay strong even we've encountered so much challenges like being far away from each other. This is what we called true friends.

"Congratulations Rizz!" They both said while we are still on the group hug. Their hug got more tighter. Afterwards, they let go of me.

"You have to have to tell your family Rizz. Im sure they will be proud of what you have reached" Jess uttered while looking at me with a huge smile on her cute face.

"Later. My mom will call me to check up on me. She always do that" and that was the best mother in the world for me. I am proud of having her and also my father. I know they will be proud and happy but at the same time they will miss me and I will miss them too. But this is a great opportunity so i wouldn't let it go.
