When I turned around I saw my little sister, Mika! I started to scream and gave her the biggest hug I could ever give someone.
Megs POV:
,,MIKA WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE" I screamed while still hugging her.
Mika: ,,I wanted to surprise you Meg! I missed you so freaking much..and I can't wait to tell you what happend."
Meg: First come on in I'll make us something to eat and then you'll tell me the good news munchkin.
Mika nodded and took her bags inside.
While I made some snacks ready, she was taking about her way to my home.
Meg: ,,Sooo tell me, how come mom let you travel alone from California to Toronto?"
Mika: ,,It has something to do with the big news!! But apart from that...you know mom can't say no to me when I look at her with these eyes"
She showed me her puppy eyes and I started laughing.
Meg: I can't believe mom is still falling for that! I mean when you were 5 it was pretty convinceable..but c'mon you're still coming through with it!"
Mika: ,,Well...I guess it's talent!"
When the snacks were ready we sat down at the couch and started eating them
Meg: ,,I think it's time to tell me what the big news is about"
Mika started to smile and her cute dimples appeared, she started to tell me all about the big news
Mika: Well...you know this Academy I always talked about?"
Meg: ,,You mean the one here in Toronto? Oh my gosh don't tell me you got accepted?!"
Mika: ,,I'M IN MEG, I GOT ACCEPTED", she screamed and literally jumped on me.
Meg: ,,MIKA I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!, I can't believe my little sister is going on the Toronto Academy of Arts!" I hugged her tightly and gave her a kiss on her cheek.
Mika: But that also means, I will be moving to Toronto and mom is kinda upset because of that..
Her big smile turned into a frown and she looked down at her hands, playing with the bracelet our mom gave us before I moved to Toronto. All three of us have this bracelet with the Initials D M M for Doria, Meghan and Mika.
I put my hands on her cheeks and lifted her head up so she looked straight at me.
Meg: Munchkin.. of course mom is upset because her baby will move to Toronto but she would have never allowed it, if she didn't think it is the right thing to do. And you know how proud she is of us no matter what we do, as long as we're passionate about it and apart from that when you move here, I'm gonna look after you no matter what. If you want me to talk to mom I'm gonna do it, but you should also give her a call and tell her how you feel alright?"
Mika: ,,Got it Meg, thank you..for everything"
Meg: ,,That's what sisters are for munchkin, you can always talk to me, no matter what."
Mika hugged me and told me everything about her new academy, the classes, the teachers even the school uniform.. I love to see her happy.. she deserves only the best. Especially after mom and dads divorce.
After a few hours of talking and eating snacks we were getting tired, it was almost 12 pm. Because I didn't know Mika was coming I hadn't prepared her room, yes she has a room at my house because she's here very often and even when mom visits, they always use mikas room. While I was taking some blankets and pillows out of the shelf to put it on my bed for Mika, she already was asleep. She looked like a cute little innocent angel, just sleeping so peacefully. I put the blanket on her and lied down next to her. As soon as I tuned off the lights I fell asleep, it was definitely a long day,
