Meghan was squeezed into Harry's seat, mainly because the couple snuggled the whole plane ride long and watched some movies.
After a long plane ride the two finally landed in Botswana, Harry's favorite place on earth. This place had a very special meaning to him and he wanted to show Meghan why.
When they left the plane the first kick of the warm wind hit them
,,I already love it" she said looking at her boyfriend, ,,believe me there's so much more, you'll love about this place it is full of energy, beauty and kindness it's incredible" harry said.
The staff transported their luggage to their little hotel they were staying in, it was beautiful there was one large king size bed, a little bathroom with a tub and a cozy patio where the couple could camp outside under the stars.
Meghan was shook by the sight of their little home for the next 10 days ,,Harry that's I- I don't even know what to say" she stuttered
Harry: You don't have to say anything love, let's just enjoy the next few days, he kissed her cheek and changed into some shorts and a T-shirt. Meghan changed into a short jumpsuit with floral design and walked over to her prince who was laying down on a mattress on the patio. She lied down beside him and snuggled into his side ,,are you up for something adventurous?" Harry asked her stroking her hair. ,,Yes of course she said all excited, what are we gonna do?" ,,It's a surprise" he smiled cheekily and helped her get up.
A few minutes later a driver picked them up and drove them to their destination, even though Meghan was confused at first she slowly realised that they were on a safari tour. They watched the lions and were allowed to feed some giraffes, the couple really enjoyed their time at the safari and took many pictures. At the end of the day harry organised a candle light dinner on their patio to surprise his girlfriend. Meghan was slightly shocked because she didn't expect this and stood there with her mouth wide open. Harry hugged the brunette from behind and rested his head on her shoulder ,,I hope you like it" he whispered kissing her cheek, ,, I love it so much harry she said turning around this is- i mean you're amazing and I'm so lucky to have you" she placed a kiss on his lips and hugged him tightly. There were many local specialities which both of them loved. ,,Have you ever tried this? It's amazing" harry was stunned by the main meal they had. ,, I think the dessert was the best" the Brunette replied taking a bite of her chocolate cake. ,,Sooo.. I actually have to tell you something..'', ,,what is it harry?" Meghan asked curious. ,,well I told you about the time in the military right? And how it changed me for the good he smiled. They offered me another mission but this time it would be all private and stuff so they won't find out that there actually is a ,,prince" involved.
Meghans smile slowly disappeared and there was a few minutes of silence between them. ,,How long would you be away" she nearly whispered. ,,6 to 8 months" he said taking her hand. The thought of harry going to Afghanistan again and him being in danger, broke her heart. ,,You don't seem happy about it" he stroke her hand and looked at her welling doe eyes. ,,You just told me that you might join the military again and leave for 8 months Harry" she got up from her seat and walked inside their little apartment. ,,It won't change anything about our relationship so why are you mad?" The ginger prince replied.
,,I'm not mad it's just That many things can change in a matter of 8 months especially when you're in the military and I can't even be sure about the fact that you'll come back" she said with tears in her eyes. Harry looked at her in shock and slowly walked towards her, cupping her face ,,Meghan nothing will happen to me", ,,Well can you promise that? Harry there are people killing each other and you want to go out there? All I can think about is our future" a tear streamed down her face. The prince wanted to pull her into a hug but she denied and lied down on the couch. Harry sat outside on the patio thinking about the offer he got, a few hours went by since the couple had their argument and didn't talk to each other. When the prince went inside he saw his girlfriend being asleep on the couch and his heart immediately dropped.
Harry's POV
I couldn't stand the fact that Meghan was sad because of me. I went towards the couch and kneeled down to her, seeing her dried tears and slightly red cheeks. I started stroking her cheek, ,,I never meant to hurt you Meghan I'm so sorry, I swear the only thing I want is a future with you. I love you so much, you are my life" He whispered. Meghan groaned a bit but didn't wake up, I picked her up in bridal style and let her down on our bed so she didn't have any back pain of sleeping on the couch. I placed a kiss on her forehead and went towards the couch, if there would be a person sleeping on the couch today it would be me. I'm not letting my girl ever sleep on something beside our bed, I took off my clothes, put on my shorts and lied down on the couch. After some while of thinking about all the stuff that happened I finally dozed off.
Meghans POV
I rolled over to the side to snuggle up to harry as usual but no one was there, it was currently 3 am. Harry? I whispered getting up. My heart was hurting seeing him sleep on the couch because of the argument we had, I took the bigger blanket and walked towards my sleeping boyfriend and lied down on top of him and putting the blanket on top of both of us. He immediately wrapped both of his arms around me while still being asleep while I placed a kiss on his chest and fell asleep.

It's a little bit shorter than the usual chapters but the next few will be def longer!
