Meghans pov
I woke up beside my future husband, who was still asleep, his arms were around me so it was kind of hard to get up without waking him but I still succeeded. Before I went into the kitchen to make us some breakfast I placed a kiss on his cheek and put on his hoodie. There were some nice oranges and pineapple which I cut into small pieces, I also made some eggs with toast. When I sat down on the couch I couldn't help myself to stop looking at the ring, it was truly beautiful and so thoughtful of harry. I was deep in thoughts when Someone cuddled me from behind.
End of Meg's PoV
Harry: Good Morning my beautiful fiancée he kissed her neck
Meg: Good Morning she giggled and pulled him in for a kiss, I made us some breakfast love let's eat
Harry: I knew something smelled nice he smiled
The couple ate some breakfast before heading over to Clarence House to visit Charles and camilla, they already knew harry was planning to propose to Meghan and hoped very much that she'll be their future daughter in law.
Harry: Hey Pa he hugged his father and camilla afterwards with a huge grin on his face
Charles: Good Morning son! Seems like you have some good news
Meg: Good Morning She hugged her future in-laws
Charles: It's wonderful to see you Meghan he smiled brightly
Camilla: Did you Two had some nice days my darling?
Meg: Yeah it was wonderful..actually we have something to tell you guys she smiled and looked down at her ring
Both Charles and camilla started smiling brightly and pulled both of them into a hug
Charles: Thank you for keeping a smile on my sons face Meghan
Meg: i should thank you for raising a true gentleman she smiled
Harry: Well I got myself a real life princess he said putting an arm around Meg's waist, but besides that.. Granny already knows and she loves Meghan and gosh her corgis love her even more than me he laughed
Meg: Well I'm really good with dogs she smiled cheeky and your grandmother was wonderful and very sweet harry, we actually told everyone in our nearest circle right?
Harry: Yeah my family and yours even Jess, Marcus and Sarah he smiled. The only thing we have to do is tell the world he sighed
Meg: that's crazy isn't it she intertwined her hands with Harry's
Harry: I wish we didn't have to he pulled meg closer to him and wrapped her up in a hug
Charles: I'm sorry son but that's our duty
Harry: I know pa.. he played with Meg's hair
Meg: Don't worry harry we'll be fine she smiled optimistic
Harry: I hope so Meg.. I'll do anything to protect you and our future children he smiled
He pecked her lips, afterwards the family had some tea with cake. They enjoyed their time very much.

Time jump to a few weeks before the wedding

Mikas PoV
I walked into Meg's room after hearing the news to find her sobbing on the bed with red puffy eyes, my heart immediately shattered into a hundred pieces, I ran over to her and sat down on her lap wiping away her tears and hugging her tightly. Meg wrapped her arms around me and rubbed my back.
Mika: I'm sorry meg I whispered
Meg: It's okay munchkin, she tried to control her breathing. I will be okay
Mika: Why is Daddy so mean to you? I asked resting my head on her shoulder
Meg: Sometimes people do bad things for money sweetie, she sniffled.
Mika: but spreading lies for money? That's not what family is about, I snapped
Meg pulled away and looked at me, cupping my face and placing a kiss on my forehead, the tears were still flooding down her cheek.
Meg: you're right, she whispered but we can't do anything about it can we? She caressed my hair.
I shook my head with a frown on my face and hugged her again, staying in that position for a while.
Mika: should I talk to daddy? i said looking into my sisters puffy eyes
Meg: munchkin.. I don't want you to get involved or hurt and you haven't talked to him in years. We'll just wait and hope for the best
Mika: He already hurt me by saying those things about you I said wiping another tear from her cheek.
Meg: I love you so much Mika she said wiping away the rest of her tears.
Mika: I Love you meg I said placing a kiss on her nose making her smile a little.
They parted away from each other when they heard the doorbelll, I got up and opened the door to see harry.
Harry: How is she? he said giving me a quick hug.
Mika: She's crying I said in a sad tone
Harry: I'll go try to talk to her, are you okay Mika?, he left his bag in the living room and quickly made his way upstairs.
Mika: yes i'm fine go talk to meg I smiled
End of Mikas PoV
Harrys Pov
I opened the door to see my fiancée sitting on the bed wiping her tears away, she looked at me and started sobbing again
Meg: Har- ry, her voice broke in the middle of my name when she got up and made her way towards me.
I immediately pulled her closer and held her tightly placing soft kisses on top of her head.
Harry: It's okay I'm here now love, we'll get this all sorted out before the wedding. We'll get through this meg I said stroking her back.
Meg: why does he do that? My beautiful brunette said while sobbing
Harry: I wish I knew i whispered still stroking her back. We lied down on the bed for a while where she snuggled as deep into my chest as she could. My shoulder was slightly wet because of her tears but that was the smallest problem we had now.
Harry: I will go talk to him meg, he can't do this to you, to his own daughter. I hate how he's treating you.
Meg: it won't change anything she whispered
Harry: it's worth a try Love he kissed her forehead
Meg: Mika wanted to talk to him too but I told her that she shouldn't, she's probably not listening to me but please take care of her harry she said looking up at me
Harry: I will don't worry, your mums going to arrive here in one hour or so do you want me to cook something? Meanwhile you can rest a bit meg
My girlfriend shook her head
Meg: No just stay here she snuggled further into my chest and wrapped her arms around my neck and sniffled
I kissed her cheek and placed my hands on her back caressing it until she fell asleep.
After 30 minutes someone opened the door, it was doria who looked very concerned about her daughter but  immediately smiled when she saw Meghan asleep and snuggled on top of me.
Doria: how long has she been asleep? she smiled lovingly looking at us
Harry: roughly 45 minutes or so, do you want me to wake her? I still caressed her back
Doria: No it's okay, I'll talk to her when she's awake she smiled at me, you're doing amazing harry thanks for taking care of my daughters
I smiled immediately: of course I gotta protect my family He smiled softly looking at Meghan
Meghan groaned slightly changing her position, but she was still on top of me. Her brunette looks covered the half of my face making me laugh a little. I tucked her hair at the other side so it wasn't completely on my face and placed a kiss on her forehead. Doria was in awe seeing us like that. She went back downstairs to cook something with Mika. Some minutes later meg woke up
Meg: Hey she mumbled
Harry: did you sleep well love? I stroked her hair
She nodded and pulled herself together to get up. She was still sitting on top of me rubbing her eyes trying to wipe away the dried tears, I pulled away her hands and stroke her face a bit before placing a few playful kisses on her face making her laugh.
Meg: did you sleep too? She asked in a sleepy tone
Harry: no I wasn't that tired, I just love cuddling with you I smiled softly
Meg placed a kiss on my lips before getting up and pulling me out of the bed, she was wearing my hoodie which was clearly too big for her but she looked adorable in it.
Harry: your mom is downstairs, she probably  cooked something with Mika
Meg: It smells like her famous pasta she smiled.
The couple went downstairs to see Mika sitting on the kitchen counter helping doria cut the sweet peppers.
Mika: Mummy look who's awake she smiled
Doria went over to her eldest daughter to hug her tightly and placing a kiss on her cheek
Doria: How are you feeling flower?
Meg: Slightly better she gave a weak smile, i can't change the situation can I?
Doria: He's not worth it Meghan, you have so much positive things coming for you.. focus on them until we sort things out with Thomas
Meg: I know mom but He's my dad and he's always been there for me when I was younger.. I Atleast want to know why he did that
Doria: Then go talk to him flower, but take harry with you. I gotta be sure that my daughter is safe
Harry smiled and looked at Meghan who was leaning against him: of course I'll go with her
