Chapter 23;

This past few days has been very hectic. Most of the students have left for their families and what's left have been training their asses off. We managed to scavenge a few more mutants who are not from this school who's willing to fight with us. We made a broadcast for all mutants who need help to come to the institute and now, we have our own brotherhood.

The guys have got better and me, well, let's just say, i'm a living weapon right now.

And today was just like any other day. Training. How fun. Oh, remember Dara? The mutant I rescued? Well she came with 3 other mutants which I believe their names to be, CL, Park Bom and Minzy. They're good. Reaaalllyyyy good.

CL has the powers of a leopard, running fast, claws and sharp-ass fangs. She was intimidating when I first met her but when we actually ate lunch together that one time, she wasn't all that scary. In fact, she's as down to earth as the other girls are.

Park Bom has a sonic scream that can break glass. I know this because when she showed me her powers, I was drinking a cup of Orange Juice and the glass broke into pieces allowing the orange liquid running down my arm.

Minzy can control the Water's movement and solidify water. Amazing right?

Dara can communicate with animals and she can take control over them but she made it clear she only used her powers for good use, which is a relief by the way.

"Clarice? You ready?" Tae Yang said. Oh yeah, he's here.

"Yeah. Let's go." I said and he wrapped his arms on my shoulders and pulled me closer. I felt a peck on my forehead and blushed. I moved myself closer to him and made way to the training room.

The greeting of younger mutants welcomed me and I greeted them in return too.

Today was the normal training day where we would do some self defense techniques with weapons and those who have abilities worked on their abilities. I can safely say all the guys are super strong now.

Oh, I also found out that Seungri can capture people's abilities and use it against them. I found this out when White Queen decided to freeze his ass and he somehow managed to redirect the power and it directed it right back to her.

Not all's fun in the sun, though. Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil has invaded half of the country already. The mutants either joined them, dead or gave up their powers by taking the antidote and joined the humans.

The humans did nothing to help us. They built a large wall to protect only themselves. Left us to rot. But they're wrong. We will live and they will be the ones who will be left to rot.

In the middle of training, Quicksilver barged in and yelled, "We found fugitives! 6 miles down the main road. They need help!"

Se7en smirked and look at me and the guys and said, "Let's leave it to the professionals, shall we?"

Me and the guys nodded in unison and we made way out of the institute to find the fugitives.

As soon as we stepped out of the school compound, it feels like i'm dead. The atmosphere is like something you'd see in a Zombie Apocalypse. Still air, thick fog, broken buildings and dead bodies.

After a few minutes walking, I can hear faint sounds of someone calling for help. I ran towards the direction and letting the cold air brush my face.
