Chapter 24;

"Sooyoung? Oh my goodness, is that you? You look different!" Hayi said while approaching me. I can't believe she's alive. She's my one and only cousin and I didn't think she would be here, I thought she would be in the capital city.

I took a few steps forward examining her face. She approached me and gave me a hug. This still felt like a dream so it took me a while before I hugged her back.

"Are you okay?" I asked while pulling away the hug. She nodded and tears filled her eyes.

"I've seen things. Horrible things! People getting killed. Someone I loved truly, dead! I almost gave up but I guess god heard my prayers and lead me to you!" She said while breaking down and crying. My knees felt weak seeing her condition, she's the one who helped me through my depressed state when my mom left and to see her like this is just so heartbreaking.

I tried pulling her up and giving her support but instead, I stayed on the ground with her and give her a shoulder to cry on. She buried her face in my chest and soon my shirt was soaked with her tears. She really did go through alot and the thought of that hurt my heart.

"Shh, Hayi. You need to be strong. I'm here and I can help you! I can give you shelter and food. For now, you need to be strong." She nodded and got up slowly.

"I-i heard this broadcast about a shelter for m-mutants." Hayi said in between sniffs and hiccups. I smiled at her comment and helped her walk. I wrap my arm around her neck and helped carried her bag.

"That's exactly where we're going." I said and we went back to the boys. I introduced them to her (which shocked them) and we made our way back to the institute.

On the way there I decided to do some catching up, "So Hayi, you're a mutant?" I said because back in the building she said she was looking for the institute for help.

"I guess you can say it that way."

"I never thought my cousin is a mutant. Don't get me wrong, your family despises mutants." And I was right, in fact her father helped my father with the upbringing of the facility I worked in back then.

"I could say the same for you." She said while giving a small giggle.

"She didn't even know that she's a mutant till she brought us here." GD said trying to lighten the atmosphere.

"It's true." I said while flashbacks were running through my mind.

By the time we know it, we're already in the institute. I instructed Hayi to meet Gummy so that she can help her settle in while I do some organization of supplies.

After all that, I had a Y-Men meeting. Same old, same old. I lazily went to the great hall anyways because I don't want to miss out anything important.

9:37pm

Today was a long day. Me and Hayi did some catching up. I had to train young mutants (including Hayi) and help them with their self-defense skills.

I was too tired to do anything else so I went to my dorm to sleep. My body was aching all over and I had no time for myself so as soon as I opened my dorm-room door I crashed on my bed. Soon, fatigue took control of my body and I drifted off into deep slumber.

2:32am

I woke up to the sound of gunshots and piercing screams. I was slightly confused so I quickly went out of my dorm room and all the students and survivors were running around their hallway. I didn't know what I was doing and I ran for it, I opened every door to the dorms and tried helping everyone out.

"Blink! Where's Se7en?" Poison Ivy asked me.

"No idea! Get all this people out with the underground tunnels! Help me find Hayi and bring the other students to safety! Go!"

It was still unclear to me about what was going on so I went to the direction of the gunshot.

Jackpot.

Several S.W.A.T members are surrounding Se7en and it looks like they weren't shooting bullets. They were shooting antidote-injectors. I didn't know what took over me and I just flared.

"Leave him alone." I said and half of the S.W.A.T members turned their direction to me, getting ready to shoot. Before they could do anything, I used my telekinesis skills and pushed them back. I levitated a table of vases and smashed it against them. Shreds of porcelain came flying towards me and I had a slight cut on my shoulders.

'I shouldn't have worn a tank top.' I said to myself.

"Oppa, lets go." I said to the man that is standing before me.

"Just go, i'll catch up." He said.

"You know where to find us." I said before running off.

TAEYANG'S POINT OF VIEW

"Hyung! Where's Sooyoung?" I asked as I pushed panicked mutants away from me as I was approaching T.O.P.

"No idea." T.O.P said, "I'll help you look." He went beside me and we went searching for Sooyoung. I can't lose her, I just cant.

"STOPPPP!" I heard a voice yell and after a loud slam. Instantly I knew it and so did T.O.P. Both of us ran towards the direction of the sound.

There she is. She's carrying a small girl bridal style in her arms and when we made eye contact she ran towards me.

"Tae Yang. T.O.P, Oh my god. Thank god you're alright. Take her with you, I'll get the supplies." She said while handling the girl over to T.O.P and surprisingly, he obeyed.

T.O.P turned to his heel and made way to the secret passage to the underground tunnel.

I gave her one tight hug and when she was about to pull away, I crashed my lips against her. I could feel my muscles in my body tighten as she kissed me back while trying to deepen the kiss and the kiss was full of passion and the need from Sooyoung. Her soft lips that smells like strawberries makes my heart skip a beat. She pulled away and I knew that she didn't want to but we have to. The last thing I can help her now is follow her orders and wish for the best.

"Be safe." she whispered and teleported herself. All I can do now is help the other guys and wish her the best luck.

Oh god, I love her so much.
