Once I was ready I got in my car and left to school. As I was standing against my car in the parking lot Ethan pulled up beside me. He got out grinning. I smiled, looking down to my feet and he stepped out and gave me a hug. Ethan: so I was thinking... Me: Oh no, that's never good. Ethan: Hey! Just listen. Me: okay? Ethan: we should go on a date tonight! Me: haha! E: I'm not kidding! Me: Eth it's Tuesday. Ethan: correct. Me: Depends...What did you have in mind? Ethan: ice skating! Me: are you serious? Ethan: Yeah I found the perfect spot! Me: but it's June? Ethan: I've noticed... please? Me: ugh how far are we going? Ethan: it's only about an hour drive. Me: kill me now! Ethan: hey not before i get my date. Me: whatever I have class. bye, dork.
He pulled me in for one last hug and kissed me on the cheek, walking away. I was confused about what was going on between Grayson and I. He made it pretty clear he likes me but I'm going on a date with His twin brother now. What the fuck am I doing?
I walked over to Kate who was leaning against her locker alone. Me: hey Kate! Kate: Oh hey Cassie. Me: where is everyone? Kate: I don't know. Me: what ya doing you look annoyed? Kate: on in not annoyed just doing some serious homework which is due next period! Me: you usually do your homework super early what happened? Kate: can i come over tonight? Me: sure but not too early I'm going out at 6:00. I'll meet you at my car? Kate: okay see you then! Me: alright, later!
*end of school day*
I strolled to my car and saw Grayson leaning against it waiting.
Me: hey what's up? Grayson: I feel like we should talk... Me: I know...me too. Grayson: Do you like me Cassie? Me: Yeah. Grayson: Do you like-like Me? Me: I don't know, I think so... Grayson: Well I really like you, and it's okay if you don't like me though. Me: I just need to think about some stuff. I'll call you when I'm home, but Ill see ya, okay? Grayson: Bye Cas!
I hugged him and as I did he kissed my head. We pulled away and he left heading for his car. A few moments later I see Kate running over to me.
Kate: hey I am so sorry I got held up And- Me: don't sweat it. It's fine. Kate: you ready? Me: all set, you? Kate: let's go!
We both got in the car and I put on some why don't we songs. We were singing along when Kate goes quiet and turns down the volume.
Kate: so are you gonna tell Me? Me: tell you what? Kate: Cassie c'mon I know your going on a date later! With who though? Me: Ethan Dolan... Kate: Ethan, I thought you liked Gray? Me: I don't know it's so confusing... I only just got them both back ya know.
We pulled up to my house and ran into my room. We laid next to each other and began talking again.
Me: this is so difficult... Kate: I get you but you'll have to make a decision soon. Me: I know....and that's what I wanted to talk about.. Kate: I can't choose for you
Me: exactly. Kate: this is stupid. We can talk tonight after the date and see how you feel? Me: okay well it's 5 now can you help me pick an outfit before you leave? And remember it's ice skating! Kate: obvs!
She tore through my closet shaking her head and then gasped. She pulled out a white lace jumpsuit. I'd never actually worn it before, I'd forgotten I even had it.
Kate: c'mon Cas you have to! Me: really? Kate: Yeah, this! straight hair and a denim jacket! Me: I luvvvv! Kate: okay you totally have to call me after and tell me how it goes! Me: Yeah I will. Kate: I've gotta run but love you! Me: ok love you too!
She left and I called Grayson got whilst straightening my hair. G: hey cas! Me: so gray I need to talk to you. G:sup! Me: Ethan asked me out, and of course I said yes but I'm not sure if it's what I want... G: what?! Me: I know ok... he's on his way I got to go but I'll call you after? G: whatever.
He said hanging up. I didn't blame if for being pissed off, It just hurts because I couldn't bare the thought of loosing him again. As I finished getting dressed, someone knocked the door. I opened it and Ethans jaw dropped. He then handed me some flowers. I invited him in and he waited while I put the flowers in a vase. He smiled at me as he opened the front door for me. Once we had reached the car He opened my door and then got In his side. We sat in the car and I sighed. Ethan: what's up? Me: an hour drive ugh... Ethan: ROAD TRIP BITCHES! Me: YAY! Not.
As we sat there in the car I was thinking about how I'd explain myself to Grayson. I bit my lip in frustration with myself. Ethan noticed and he turned down the radio then looked at me confused.
E: are you good Cas? Me: I don't know at the moment. E: what's wrong? Me: it's just, I feel bad. E: for???? Me: nobody don't worry. E: ok... He replied as I turned up the volume again.
*at the rink*
Ethan: so do you know how to skate? Me: not at all. Ethan: okay give me your hands.
I do as he says and he skates backward and because i was facing him, i was sliding forward.

Ethan was driving and I was checking my phone. As I looked down I saw 3 messages from Grayson.
Grayson
Grayson: hey, we need to talk.... Grayson: I told you it wouldn't bother me that you don't like me, but it's killing me not having an answer. Grayson: just text me when your back from your date😔.
I looked down at my phone and new what had to be said. I definitely liked Grayson. Although I did have a lot of fun with E on the date, it felt the same way it did when we were hanging out. but with Grayson it's different and incredible and spontaneous! I had made my decision.
