Dinner with the Dolans🥂

We pulled up and I followed Grayson to the front door. Ethan was sat on the porch clearly waiting for my arrival. He jumped up and as he was about to hug me he stared me up and down looking like his eyes were about to pop out off his head. "Fuck me" he whispered quietly to himself not realising me and probably Grayson could hear him. Gray grunted and guided me into the dining room and pulled out a chair for me. I sat down and he sat opposite me, we were both almost shaking with nerves. Ethan walked in and sat beside me and held my hand under the table.
E: it's okay, I'm here.

Lisa and Sean walked in so I stood up and gave each of them a hug.

L: Cassie hunny it's so lovely to see you again, we weren't sure wether you guys would make it through all of this. I can tell you we are very disappointed with Grayson's actions too.
Me: erm thanks, but we actually had a reason why we wanted to see you tonight. Grayson and I have some pretty big news...
S: oh gosh they've broken up Lisa why did you have to say anything-
Me: no no n-
Grayson: no?
Me: Grayson please?!
Grayson: well I don't think we're broken up, it's some different news actually.
L: well go ahead tell us!
Grayson: were having a baby..
S: What?
Grayson: dad please don't be mad..
S: what did I tell you about using a condom Son! YOU ALWAYS PUT A SUIT ON THE GENTLEMEN!
L: Sean not the time for this type of talk! Now.. how far along are you Cassie?
E: about 5-6 weeks.
L: thanks Cassie.

Ethan rolled his eyes and continued holding my hand as I kept shaking and stuttering.
L: so you guys have decided to keep this baby yes?
Me: it's what we both would want.
L: sweetie you can't just think you want this baby you have to know there is consequences, otherwise you can ruin a while life here..
E: MOM! that's a bit much ok..
L: I'm just saying it's a huge responsibility.

I looked up to Grayson who gave a reassuring smile then back to Lisa.
Me: I know.
S: does your mother know?
Me: no not yet actually.
L: oh I'll pray for you.
G: mom Jesus..just stop for a sec your freaking her out.

The room was silent for a minute till Grayson's face lit up.

Grayson: you have to see this!

I stared at him confused as he began pulling the case off his phone, and he pulled out a picture from the recent scan. My heart melted just looking at how happy he was to be having this baby.

They looked approving enough as they could ever be so we left it at that. His parents and Ethan all took out our plates and spoke in the kitchen. Grayson looked me up and down smirking...

G: come with me.
Me: no way.

I said giggling baffled that he'd even think I'd follow him. He stood up and walked to my seat and pulled it out with me still on it. He got on one knee and I almost lost my shit thinking he was gonna try propose. I cringed with awkwardness as he stayed there analysing my expression.

G: Jeez cas calm down I'm not gonna ask you to marry me.
Me: phew..wait so why are you on one knee right now.
G: I just need you to hear me out-
Me: SERIOU-
G: no not about that, I just want to be here with you, right now.

I could feel myself edging closer to him but I didn't want to give in.
Grayson: I love you, I love you and our baby. I love everything about you, I made a huge mistake and it was all my fault and I'm not expecting you to forgive me or to never move on, I just need you to know I will never leave you alone and I will always be there for you baby girl.

I instantly felt the way I did when I had first fallen in love with Grayson Dolan. Not being able to stop myself I kissed him lightly on the lips before getting up and grabbing his hand to help him up. We just looked at each other silently. I felt someone staring so I glanced to the door seeing Ethan. I smiled at him bluntly not knowing what he saw or heard.

E: So are you guys back together?
Me: we haven't talked about that and we're not going to talk about that right now.
G: so you just kissed me, not even because you want to get back with me?
Me: I never even said we were broken up! LOOK WERE TAKING A BREAK.. that's all.
G: whatever, Ethan will take you home I have to shower.
Me: are you fucking joking?
E: Gray that's freaking harsh bro..
G: she wants to use me while we're on a break I have no reason to be here now.
Me: what happened to I'll always be here for you?
E: Gray don't be a dick..
G: LOOK ETHAN ID APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD LEAVE OFF MY GIRLFRIEND OR CONFESS YOUR LOVE FOR HER SO SHE CAN TURN YOU DOWN ALREADY!
Me: GRAYSON! Stop it..fucking Asshole..
G: Fuck you Cassie!

I started sobbing and walked out the door.
G: wait Cas I'm sor-
E: stop Grayson, just give her some time to cool off.
G: or what?
E: she'll dump your ass and I'll beat the shit out of you again..
G: funny. Now please take her home for me I know I messed up.
E: alright.

I was stood on the drive crying, when Ethan came out to me. He walked up to me and pulled me into a hug.
Me: I feel like an idiot eth.
E: why?
Me: coz I have given him anything he's ever wanted or asked for... He treats me like shit an I'm supposed to have a baby with him. He made promises and said things he clearly doesn't mean.
E: do you love him?
Me: I don't know...He broke me.
E: yeah, but do you love him?
Me: I don't think I can anymore if this is how it's going to be. That kiss was supposed to give me hope which it did, but then he treated me like that and i feel broken all over again.
E: Cassie, look at me?

I looked up to Ethan with tears in my eyes.
E: I love you Cas..
Me: I love you t-
E: no stop.. I'm in love with you!
Me: Ethan I can't say anything back to that and you know it!
E: well do you love me?
Me: yes?!
E: but are you in love with me Cassie?
Me: I- stop! What are you doing to me!
E: I understand. I'm sorry I put all this stress on you...

I shook my head not being able to handle his apologies anymore. I pulled him into a hug and waited a couple seconds, before slowly pulling my head from his shoulder and looking into his eyes. Thankful to have him in my life.

Me: stop apologising dumbass..
E: sorry!
Me: ugh get in the car pleaseeeee.

I rolled my eyes and he followed me to the car. We started driving home then saw a stop sign which we had accidentally just ran.. that's when I noticed the bright headlights flashing as they sped into the side door where I was sat. Suddenly my whole life flashed before my eyes. For most of it I saw Grayson, he was shown as the love of my life helping my family. A completely different person to who he is now,
Then I saw him...Ethan he was laughing and comforting me as always, telling me how much he loves me and how he'd never leave. I felt so grateful to have those boys in my life....

"BANG"

I blacked out for most of it, I saw flashes off the accident. Ethan was almost unconscious, he had blood all over one side of his face. He couldn't move his leg as he tried to pull me out of the car with his arms. I heard sirens, blacking out again. I saw another flash, he was shouting in pain and crying while pointing at me. "HELP HER!! Please help her! SHES PREGNANT! I love you Cas! It's gonna be alright!"
I blacked out again and no more flashes came to me.

A/n : just one bad thing after another😂. Sorry this update took a couple months, I had some problems I needed to deal with but I'm so excited and ready to write a new one right now! Endings coming up soon 🥴😢.
But will be writing other stories after this!
