Once i got home i ran into my room and sat on my bed. I pulled out my phone and clicked on Grayson's contact. Then started typing...

Me: Hey i got your messages. Im sorry.
Grayson: Ethan told me you both had a great time.
Me: Yeah I guess.
Grayson: maybe we can be together another time and i know Ethan will still treat you right.
Me: listen goofball! After tonight although I really enjoyed hanging out with your brother it made me realise. I don't want to be like that with him.
Grayson: no?
Me: Grayson?
Grayson: yeah?
Me: I think I actually like you...
Grayson: oh, I er, actually have like you for a while too.
Me: shittttt! What am I going to tell Ethan.
Grayson: just explain he will understand Cas.
Me: I guess so.
Grayson: is it my turn to take you on a date yet?
Me: ask me tomorrow.
Grayson: whatever, beautiful. See you tomorrow.

I sighed with relief. Then showered before going to sleep.

WEDNESDAY -
7:00am
I woke up and immediately checked my phone, I had a message from Ethan.

E:hey princess! Need a ride to school?
Me: seriously your still calling me that?!
E: what can I say haha! Well, ride?
Me: sure pick me up at 8, I need to speak to you actually.
E: ok.

I got ready for school and thought about what I was going to say to Ethan.

8:05am

I heard a car beep outside, knowing it was Ethan I ran out the door and slammed it behind me. Waking over to the car I shook my head giggling.
E: what?
Me: not nice to keep a lady waiting Ethan.
E: I'm late by 5 minutes, anyway what did you want to talk about?
Me: you know our date?
E: yeah?
Me: I just had a good time and all but, I'm not sure I'm into you, in that way?
E: look Cas don't feel bad! I get it, I didn't feel like we clicked in that way either to be honest I was kinda scared to bring it up and I'm pretty sure your more interested in my brother anyway.
Me: what? Haha.
E: I'm not blind. And I am completely chill with it.
Me: seriously?
E: 100%, I think you should go for it.
Me: why?
E: coz I think he might like you too yunno.
Me: haha shut up!
E: whatever princess.
Me: ugh!

We pulled up in the lot and Grayson was waiting at the gate with Kate and Allison. I didn't even know they all knew each other but I guess it would make sense since we're always doing football and cheer practise together. As me and Ethan we're walking over to them I saw Allison stroke Grayson's arm laughing. What was so funny?? I felt a twinge of jealousy come over me. Ethan looked at me and clearly noticed by my way too obvious bitchass glare.
E: Cas chill!
Me: I'm good.
E: then keep yor resting bitch face to a minimum, remember that's your best friends.
Me: shit yeah. Um thanks.

I looked back over to them and they were walking towards us too. Kate ran over to me and pulled me away squealing. I was confused as I was pulled by her grip away from my friends.
K: how was it?
Me: what?
K: the date?!
Me: oh my god I totally forgot to call you...
K: yeah I know but shut up and just tell me about it!
Me: wait so do you want me to shut up or tell you about it? I can't really do both.
K: ugh just spill!
Me: it was ok.
K: okay? That bad.
Me: no I had fun but we're just staying friends.
K: so Grayson???
Me: I like him ok.
K: eeeek!
Me: hush, cmon.

We walked back over to the group and the bell rang. Ethan left with Grayson who gave me a wink as he left. I began blushing and Allison noticed and nudged Kate giggling.
K: aww Cassie's blushing!!!
A: how adorable!
Me: shut up! We gotta get to Chem, you know what Mr Adams is like.
A: subject change much haha.
K: to be honest she has a point, we better go before we all end up scrubbing gum off the desks!
A: ahh cmon.

Allison grabbed mine and Kate's hands and pulled us towards the science building. Once we got to our seats and sat down. The second bell rang.

Mr Adams: your lucky girls, I was about to put you all in detention.
K: Jeez.
Mr Adams: what was that Miss Fields? Something you'd like to share with the class?
K: no sir.

I chuckled quietly at how scared Kate was. Allison looked at me and Kate and shook her head.
A: tut tut tut...
K: shut up..

By the time lunch rolled around I was leaving my class and Grayson was waiting at the door for me. As class was dismissed I practically ran out the door.
We left and went to a table full of the whole football team, including Nate. We hadn't spoken in weeks. I sat down across from Ethan and between Grayson and one of my old friends Jack.
J: hey sexy.

As you can tell we aren't friends anymore. Whilst he said this Nate sat down across from Jack. He placed his plate on the table and flicked jack in the head and gave him a warning look.
J: no fair, you'd let Grayson and Ethan smash but not your best bud?
N: shut up.
J: aw are you scared of them? Or her?
N: seriously dude don't push me.
J: haha I bet she's great in the sack, right Dolans?

I lost my temper and elbowed him in the chest making him fall back on the floor. The whole cafeteria started laughing.
J: well played Garner.

He said chuckling. He picked himself back up of the floor and sat down again.
J: I was kidding ok, I'm sorry?
G: whatever dumbass.
Me: forgiven if u let me drive your car at the party on Friday night?
G: what party?
Me: my party.
N: were not throwing a party!
Me: were not, I am.

Nate looked down at his plate and sighed, I felt kinda bad but I couldn't forgive him yet.
J: fine deal, but your not driving it after your drunk.
Me: whatever come over before and I'll drive it to the store for the stuff!
J: I'll gladly come over before, just me and you in my red convertible. I can see it now

He winked and I could feel Grayson's breath hitch. He grunted and snapped back at Nate.
G: oh, actually I'm coming so... just you, Cassie, and I, how romantic!

I looked at Grayson and laughed and he gave me a wink and put his hand on my leg. Not sexually just in a comforting way and I put my hand on top of his, as he made our fingers intertwine under the table.
