I stare at myself in the mirror and smile. Simple, but cute. I check the time and it read 6:10. I run my hand through my dark hair one more time before leaving. I walk through the crowded lobby and walk out to the crowded streets. The sun was slowly setting and the Los Angeles sky turned beautiful colors of orange and yellow. After about fifteen minutes of walking I spot the Tropical Smoothie store and smile.
I open the clear glass door and enter the cold, vacant store. "I'll be with you in a minute!"
"Well, I hope. You did invite me." I say smiling. Caleb's face pokes out from the backroom and his smile grows.
"Abigail! Hey, I thought you weren't coming."
"I wouldn't ditch you."
"I'm happy to hear. We close in like twenty minutes, so do you wanna hang out out here?"
"Yea, also, could I get a Mango Blast Smoothie?" Caleb smiles and chuckles quietly.
"Of course." The store bell rings and I turn to see Nick in the doorway staring at me.

"Hello sir, I'll be with you in a second." Nick walks up to the counter and lays a ten dollar bill down.
"I'll just get whatever she's getting. Keep the change." I bite my lip as Nick leans on the counter beside me.
"So this is the guy that would be happy to have you?" Nick asks with a sly smirk. I roll my eyes and push his shoulder.
"Shut up, Nicholas."
"You know he's a model right?" Nick says quietly.
"Yea, I know right?" I smile and look over at Caleb. He smiles at me and glances over at Nick.
"No like an actual model. Caleb Coke. Look him up."
"Well perfect match then. Actor and Model."
"One, Sunrise Sunset for-"
"Me." Nick turns placing his hands on either side of me trapping me between his arms. "Ya know I think Actor and Singer would go way better." Nick pulls away with a smoothie in hand. He takes a sip and smirks. "My favorite." Nick saunters out of the store leaving me confused.
"What was that all about?" Caleb asks sliding a smoothie towards me. "Who was that?"
"My brother's friend. He's... quite the character."
"No kidding... Anyways, it's closing time, he was the last customer." Caleb cleans out the blenders he had just used and makes sure to shut off the lights in the back and lock the doors. He hangs up his apron and puts out his hand for me. "Ready?"
"Yup." I say taking a sip of my smoothie. Caleb smiles as I take his hand and we head out the store.
