Jinhwan was sitting on a chair outside Mr. Koo's office waiting to be called in. Mr. Koo was the founder of the most popular and wealthy company in Korea, Koo Enterprises.

It was hard to get a job within the company, but Jinhwan had managed to land a job as Mr. Koo's assistant due to his good grades in University. Jinhwan was considered one of the best in his school at the time and Mr. Koo only accepted the best.

Jinhwan began nervously fidgeting with the bracelet around his wrist while he waited. Suddenly, the door to Mr. Koo's office opened making Jinhwan look up.

A woman exited the office along with the business man that Mr. Koo had been talking to. She escorted the man out of the office before turning to Jinhwan with a polite smile on her face.

"Mr. Koo will see you now." She said, gesturing towards the open office door.

Jinhwan got up from his seat a entered Mr. Koo's office after thanking the woman. When he was inside the office, the door was closed behind him, giving them privacy.

"Have a seat." Mr. Koo instructed as he looked up from the folder sprawled out on his desk.

Jinhwan did as he was instructed and sat on the seat on the other side of the desk, across for Mr. Koo.

"I have heard that you did exceptionally well in University, is that correct?" Mr. Koo said after he closed his folder and looked at Jinhwan.

"Yes, sir." Jinhwan nodded, reminding himself to be as polite as possible.

There was a moment's pause until Mr. Koo continued to speak.

"As you have been told. I am giving you the job of being my assistant." Mr. Koo pointed out.

Jinhwan nodded.

"I suspect you will do your duty well." Mr. Koo stated.

"Yes, sir. I will do my best. I am very grateful for this job. Thank you very much." Jinhwan said in a grateful tone. He really was grateful that Mr. Koo accepted him.

Mr. Koo nodded as a way of saying you're welcome.

"There is another staff member, her name is Hyeon. She was supposed to have a draft written up for me this morning. I want you to go fetch it and bring it to my office as your first task." Mr. Koo ordered.

Jinhwan nodded and thanked Mr. Koo one more time before leaving to do his first task.

Jinhwan was on his way back to Mr. Koo's office with the drafts when he suddenly bumped into someone which he immediately apologized for.

When Jinhwan looked up he was met with a tall man who was wearing a black trench coat and had raven hair that was slicked back. Jinhwan immediately recognized the man as Koo Junhoe. The son of Mr. Koo himself.

Realizing that Jinhwan had just bumped into his employer's son he grew flustered and repeatedly apologized.

"I'm really sorry. I-" Jinhwan was interrupted when Junhoe started talking.

"You must be my father's new assistant." Junhoe spoke nonchalantly. "Jinhwan, right?"

Still a little flustered, Jinhwan nodded. An almost unnoticeable smirk appeared on Junhoe's lips before he turned to leave, heading for his father's office leaving Jinhwan standing there, still traumatized by what just happened.
