"He doesn't have a contact number? Pathetic." I shook my head and put down the papers that contained some informations about Mr.A.
"Why are you interested in Sarocha?" Heidi asked curiously.
We are currently at a restaurant to meet the detective I hired to investigate about Mr.A.
"Correction, I'm not interested in him. I just want to investigate if there are things in him that he can destroy." I added saka dinampot ang glass of juice na nasa harapan ko.
"Like what?"
"A criminal records. Malay ba natin na masama pala siyang tao? Nagtatago sa batas or something." I answered after drinking the juice.
"Don't you think Tito hasn't done that yet?" Heidi asked shaking her head. Maybe she couldn't believe that I'm wasting my time with that weirdo.
"Alam ko pero malay ko ba na hindi magaling 'yong nakuha niyang tao." All I want is for him to get fired. I can feel that my life will not be peaceful when I am with him.
"And yours is better?" Heidi asked with a frown. She seemed impatient waiting for the detective.
"We will see. That's why we'll meet him today." I answered and immediately smiled when I saw Detective Mendez.
"Good afternoon, Ma'am." He greeted us with a smile. Heidi just nodded and I offered him to sit down.
"Good afternoon, detective. Do you have any information about what I am asking you to investigate?" I asked as soon as he sat down.
"Patience, Becky." Heidi laughed. Tinaasan ko lang siya ng kaliwang kilay dahil sa pang aasar niya.
"Yes Ma'am. Marami po." "He said before pulling out a folder containing some papers. I called the waiter first and offered him to order.
"Okay, spill." Sabi ko matapos niyang maibigay ang order.
"He is Freen Sarocha." He started. "Twenty five year old. Son of Feliciano and Laura Sarocha." I nodded because I already read that in the resume that Mr.A handed over to Dada when he was just starting. When I found an opportunity, I secretly took those informations to Dada's office.
"His mother is from here, town of Guadalupe. His father is a photographer from Manila. The two stayed there when they got married. His mother died when he was seven year old due to heart disease..." He stopped when the drink he ordered, arrived. He drank it quickly and went back to reading.
"When he was eighteen year old, his father died of cancer, which consumed all the money they had. They had no relatives in Manila because his father was from Zambales. Due to the death of his father and no close relatives, he decided to stop studying and work. He had too many jobs if we were to list them all." I looked at Heidi. She just shrugged at me.
"Among his previous jobs? Are there any illegal ones?" I asked curiously at the same time as praying that he had done or was doing something illegal.
"Nothing, Ma'am. He makes a living in a fair way. No criminal records." Detective gave an honest answer that made me sigh.
"Where did he learn his skills in martial arts and in using guns?" I asked. I noticed that he was also good at using a gun.
"When he was ten, Feliciano enrolled him in a martial arts club. It only stopped when his father died. He also worked as a security guard for a bank in Manila. These are the proofs." He handed me some certificates of recognition and some photos of Mr.A.
