~Eren's POV~

It had been hours since I had woken up. Levi hadn't left my side all night which was reassuring. If I had woken up without him there, I'd probably just have a mental breakdown. The hospital room was still bright as ever and the window showed the morning sun waking the once sleeping city. It was a perfect view. The sun peeked it's head over the horizon telling the stars to disappear until the moon was out again. The many birds flew over eyeing the ground beneath them while the white clouds had shown their faces.

Both the nurses and the doctors had already come in a little after I woke up the previous night. They explained everything to me. Apparently, I had suffered from liver damage from consuming too much alcohol over the past few years. My father always told me I'd be fine, but the hospital bills say differently.

So for now, all I've been doing is laying in bed recovering from my near-death experience. The room felt colder since Levi had gone to pick up Mikasa at their house. At this point, I was too fed up to see her face. She's been petty and has only been wanting to keep me away from Levi—the boy I loved.

Clinging to the blankets to accumulate as much heat as possible, I had became lost in thought. Levi Ackerman was the most adorable and cutest thing ever. His attitude was always so sharp and sassy, his body is nearly identical to a girl's, and he's my boyfriend. It feels so nice to confirm it. He is my boyfriend and mine only. There's something comforting about thinking like that.

My thoughts broke away when the door opened. There stood the nurse with two people behind her. Both my boyfriend and my once trusting best friend revealed their faces. Levi had on a grey turtle neck sweater with a pair of black ripped jeans. Still cute as ever. And Mikasa had on a a red blouse with black leggings. I gave all my attention to my boyfriend as I tiredly reaching out my hand towards his. I could feel that his palms were sweaty, but it didn't bother me.

With little strength, I pulled him close. My lips lightly touched his for a few seconds before I pulled away. It felt so good—almost too good to be true—knowing I could finally do that without hiding.

Completely uncomfortable and unaware of what to do, Mikasa stood near the window twirling the loose strings attached to her shirt. Everyone in the room knew she had no right to bud in after what we've all been through. There was no room for negative energy, only pleasant memories were to be made here.

My boyfriend sat in the chair near the bed as he held my hand like he'd done the previous night. He presented himself to be so feminine that it was the most delightful. If he was a girl, he'd make an amazing wife. But given the fact he's a boy, he'd make an even more perfect husband.

Looking over to the mentally lost Mikasa, she gave a soft smile before sitting down in the chair near the only window in the room.

"Hey Mikasa," I greeted calmly with the same smile she had given me.

"Hey Eren," she replied even quieter than myself.

"As you can see...Levi and I are now dating. We're boyfriends and you can't do anything about it.  You can still be my friend or...walk out that door, I don't care at this point anymore. You've done so much to sabotage our relationship and I'm tired of it. I'm sorry if it hurts you," I explained with out pity.

Getting up from her seat, she sat at the middle of the hospital bed. Her feet hung off the edge while her eyes never left mine.

"You shouldn't be the one apologizing, I should be. I've done so much shit that it's not even okay anymore. I'm the one who's sorry. I'll support your relationship through thick and thin because I love you both," she answered showing nothing, but the truth.
