Drew stepped back from the open doors, making even Nix's jaw drop at the sight.

There were walls and walls of bookshelf-like things, but instead of books, there were nests with eggs of every color and size inside of them. The room was enormous as well, so big that Nix couldn't even see the end.

Drew glanced at the room, then back at the wide-eyed soon-to-be Dragon Riders, and rolled his eyes, startling everyone when he said, "Come now, don't just stand there. Go in and find your dragon!"

Immediately everyone rushed in, Nix lingering outside for a few seconds so as to not get caught in the rush. Flamma and Leo had already gone in.

The moment Nix entered the room, she felt a pull on her heart toward the farthest corner in the room. In a daze, Nix walked straight there, and when that pace became too slow for her, she burst into a run dodging surprised people left and right, through every twist and turn, running to her dragon.

Nix skidded to a stop when she saw her egg. It was a strange purple and blue with scattered white and green scales, looking beautiful. Her breath caught as she looked at the egg, and when she picked it up, it felt as if the whole world had finally set into place.

(The egg is purple and white and blue, and when it is heated up to hatch it is white and green)

Nix turned around and walked slowly back, reveling in the sensation of fulfillment that she had never felt before.

When she arrived, she saw that two kids and Leo were already there, holding their eggs. Leo's egg is dark blue with scattered white scales, like hers.

(The egg is blue with white normally and turns green when it is heated up to hatch)

Leo had that same look of wonder on his face as he gazed at his egg that Nix had when she saw hers, and he only looked up when she slipped next to him. She smiled, although it looked just as wonder-filled as Leo's returning smile.

They both turned to face the door right as Flamma walked through with her egg. It was a shimmering blood red with black scattered spots instead of white, and Nix could honestly say to anyone who asked that it was a stunning egg.
