I dialed Nathan 's. number and ran upstairs to the bathroom. The phone rung and rung then I got voice mail. What? isn't he supposed to have his phone. I dialled it again. He picked up.
"Why'd you do it? " I asked.
"Do what?" He said acting like he didn't do anything.
'' Hurt my mom when she was driving to work. " I said and it was silent for a few seconds. "huh."
"I didn't. do it."
"you did! My mom told me she saw someone with blue plaid punch her and throw her out of her own car."
"Look I have to go, Cuz we are friends and your blaming me for hurting your mom." He hung up.
Nathan's p.o.v(his call conversation 3days later )
"Uh -huh it was successful. "
"and your friends with the daughter, right."
"yea but man I don't think this right lying to her. like I mean she's my only real friend. '"
"Look you want the job or not.''
"duh."
"OK quit fussing."
"ok dad."
Sadie's p.o.v (
It's been a week since I talked to Nathan about what happened to my mom and for the past few days I been trying to get a court date and this morning it was finalized so right now I'm getting ready to go to court to figure this out. I went to my closet and put on a black skirt and white shirt and black jacket over it. My hair was already combed because. I combed it when I woke up. I know what your thinking ,what about school. Well. I called to tell them I need this day to be excused even though today is the day we present our projects. I walked downstairs and out the door and went in the car and drove to the court house.
