Chapter 14

  I looked at Nathan with a shy face.'' Because- uh- ill just go upstairs with Sadie and Claudia.'' i say. i start to walk back up the stairs.

''No don't go back up.'' he said.

''Can you just let me go upstairs please. i really wanna hang with Claudia. i haven't see her since i left the hospital.''I explain. I continue to walk back upstairs and he stops me once again.

''Why do you keep pulling me back down. if you want me to say sorry I'll say sorry about what happened last year. also don't go trying to get with Sadie.'' I tell him.

''whatever you say. but remember what I told you after you broke up with me. I said I never wanted to see you again.

''You never said that.'' Well maybe  I might have not heard that part and left that part out .

''Well I'm saying it now. You can go upstairs with Claudia,but this will be the last time I see you.'' he explains.

'' OK now whatever.'' I said then i grabbed my bag off the chair and walked upstairs.

                                                               Sadie's P.O.V

Me and Claudia were watching the fault in our stars. then i thought Jessica has been down stairs for a long time. so i got up off the bed and decided to go see Jessica.

''I'm gonna go downstairs and get more popcorn.'' i say and Claudia nods her head.

Just as i was about to open the door Jessica opened it. 

''I wanna go home .'' she said/

''But we are watching the fault in our stars.''

''I just wanna go, ill tell you later why but right now i wanna go. You can stay if you want but-''

''No i ll go with you home because i wanna go now.'' i looked over at Claudia.

''Hey Claudia do you think you could pause it and we could watch it tomorrow.'' I plead.

''No problem, see you tomorrow at 5;00.''

''Yea tomorrow.'' I say quickly and shut the door.

As i was walking down the stairs i didn't see Jessica. so I guessed that she had already made her way to my house.

--later on that night(9:00)--

Me and Jessica were sitting on the couch and we had brought speaker down from my room and we were jamming to music.

''So why did you storm out of Claude's house like that.'' i yelled. Then i turned the music down a little.

''and will never be royals...'' she yelled.

She didn't here me because obviously she was still sing royals. That's like one of the only song she knows. so i put it on. i picked up the stereo remote and turned the music down lower.

''Hey, why did you turn it down.'' she snatched the remote from my and and i snatched it back.

''Because i wanna talk to you, Your suppose to tell me why you stormed out earlier.''

''Oh yea so you know how i was downstairs for a long time.''

''Yea. i was wondering what took you so long.''

''So Nathan had pulled me down the stairs and basically told me that would be my last time coming over there. He was acting like it was his house.'' she explained.

I understand she broke up with him in a mean way but he shouldnt act like he lives there , Hes only stayin there for a month or so. and so even if he tells her she cant come , she should come anyway.

''Even if he says you cant come, you should still come and see what he does.''

''OK , problem solved. Now turn the music back.'' she yelled.

i Turned the stereo up and the next song was playing which was best song ever by one direction. i sat there on the couch and watched Jessica's dance to the song. And half way through it she was looking at me weird.

''you know you wanna dance.'' she yelled.

''Why not?'' she pulled me up and we started dancing and singing along to the song.

''And we danced all night to the best song ever, we knew every line now i cant remember how it goes but i know that i wont forget her.'' we both said dancing around and pointing at each other.

--The next day--

I woke up and saw that me and Jessica fell asleep on the chair. it was Friday and the time was 8;15.

''Wake up we are gonna be late for school!'' i yelled and rolled her off the floor and she fell on the hard wood floor.

''What.'' she said in a groggy voice.

''Go put some clothes on so we gone to school.''

Jessica sat up and slid on the floor like a dog all the way upstairs. We had fifteen minutes left before we could get to school on time. so all i had time to do is brush m teeth and brush my hair. i ran upstairs to the bathroom door and turned the knob but it was locked. i banged on the door.

''Get out already! We only have 12 minutes.'' i yelled.

Two minutes later Jessica came out the bathroom looking neat as ever like she hadn't just woke up.

''Now you hurry up we have ten minutes left.'' she yelled in my face and pushed me in the bathroom.

i got into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. but i didn't have enough time to brush my hair , so i just put it in a  messy bun. Then i ran to my room and put some sweat pants on and slipped my light blue converse  on. i already had on a black  jacket.  I slid don't the stairwell of the stairs and Jessica was sitting on the couch looking at me like are you really wearing that.

''Don't judge me!'' i say and open the door and run out. She was running behind me.

''Run faster Jessica, five minutes!''

Finally we reached the double doors of our school and people were surprised to see Jessica walking with me and not arriving in a limo. I heard people whispering.

''Why is she walking in with her and why are they talking to each other.''people were saying.

 i walked near them and then said,'' i can hear you, just shut up.'' They looked at me like I was crazy.  We got to my class and since Jessica doesn't have first period with me she walked away.  I walked inside my art class and sat in  my usual seat. The bell rang as i was sitting my books down. Then Ms prseley walked in in front of the class and someone walked in behind her.

''We have a new student, his name in Nathan.''
