My Xbox Friend

Chapter 15

Did she just say Nathan? Nathan as in boy I'm met in a parking lot. As in boy who kinda scared my friend. As in boy who i thinks likes me. But lets get back to the point, Nathan! First of all if you were gonna be a new student why would you come on a Friday, at least come on a Monday. Second of all , why him!

''Everyone say hi to Nathan..''

Nathan coughed as if to say don't announce my last name.

''Just Nathan.'' He said as he interrupted Ms. Presley.

After she introduced Nathan, she told him where his seat would be and guess what ! It was a seat in the back of me. Of all the seats in the room, she picked one in the back of me. I swear sometimes she just reads my mind and does the opposite of what it says. As soon as he sat down he poked me and I  acted like i didn't feel it. Then he poked me again and i did the same thing.

''Come on Sadie don't be like that.'' He whispered.

''Hi Nathan.'' I said with a fake smile.Then i turned back around.

Then he tapped me again.

''Yess?'' i say.

''You coming over later?"

''Yea, to chill with my bff Claude, why.''

''We should all hang together.''

''Who? Me, you, Claudia and Jessica?''

''no . me, you and Claudia.''

''If Jessica cant hang with us i m not coming.'' i explained.

''You know she dumped me hard...'' he started.

I  turned back around.

''sadie...''he whisper called

''im trying to learn.'' i said still facing forward.

''OK fine Jessica can come.'' he gave in.

''Yay,'' i said a little to loud.

''Ms Washington shh.''

So the rest of the day, Nathan and i had every class period together accept second. Its like he new every class i was in and then told the principal to put him in all of them accept second because Jessica  was In that one. i walked to the front door of the school and waited for Jessica. Five minutes later she showed up.

''Where have you been? '' i asked.

''Bathroom. How has your day been?''

''Not so good. So now Nathan goes to our school and i have every class with him accept 2nd.''

''i know Nathans new. i seen him today in the hallway and he looked at me and looked a way.''

''Oh well all four of us our suppose to be hanging with each other later on today. Nathan said its ok if you come. So you wanna come?''

''Why would you ask that after i said i didn't wanna go over there ever again?''

''Because i just wanna finish watching the fault in our stars. i only watched half.'' i said.

''I don't even know what the fault in our stars is!'' she explained.

''Oh its about a sixteen year old girl who get cancer and..''

''The book?'' she asked.

''Yeabut its a movie now.''

''OK ill go only if Nathan doesn't talk to me and you dint flirt right in my face.''

''I dont like him.''

''Sure'' she said sarcastically and started to walk towards the coffee house

''Lets get coffee!'' she said.

''No. not in a coffee mood.'' i said and pulled her arm down the street to my house. i opened the dorr with my key and i saw my mom in the living room looking good as new.

''Mom!'' i ran over and hugged her.'' How did you get home?'' i asked and sat down next too her then Jessica hugged her next.

''I thought you were coming home on Sunday. Why did they let you out early?''Jessica asked.

''hold on girls let me answer those questions before you ask anymore. So yesterday when you left a doctor came in and told me I'm free to go  but I'm still regaining my memory back and then gave me a ride in a n ambulance back home.''

Really back in an ambulance i thought.

''I know crazy right.''she said like she was reading my mind. i kicked off my shoes and then my socks.

''Mom how did you remember all that?"

''its coming back slowly."

''Sadie, put your shoes back on . We gotta go remember.'' Jessica told me.

''Where?'' my mom asked

''Two houses down to Claudia's house to watch a movie.''

''What movie?''

''Don't worry about it, its not a bad one.'' i got up and headed for the door and waited for Jessica to drop her bag so we could go. You know when i said my mom was back to normal. i really meant it because you know how she used to ask me question after question. It seems likes she asks way more now. finally , Jessica caught up to me a d we left out the door.

''why couldn't you have just told your mom about the movie?  Also why were you so disrespectful  to her?

''I act like that towards my mom all the time , its sorta kinda a habit.''

When i said that she shook her head. We finally got up to Claude's house and then i knocked. Please don't let Nathan answer because if Nathan answers, drama starts now. The door opened and it was Claudia. i took a deep breath. Jessica and i walked in and then i pulled Claudia to the side.

''Jessica and Nathan aren't actually on speaking terms because they were a thing and their not a thing any more and you know how that goes.''

''They used to go out!'' she sounded surprised.

''No time to elaborate. Pop the movie in . wheres Nathan?''

''Oh he went  to go but some chips and snacks at Walmart. Just sit and wait. Do you like him?''

Jessica overheard us and stood up and walked over to us.''She does!'' she eek-ed.

''I dont.'' i yelled.

''Shh the movies on.'' Jessica said.

Suddenly my phone rang. i got it out of my pocket and answered it . it was my mom.

''Hello.''

''Hey Sadie. my memory is coming back and i figured out how i went in the hospital. a boy or a man or a teen pulled me out of my car and started to beat me up. He was wearing blue plaid shirt and jeans.''

After i heard that i hung up the phone up. Why does everything always lead up to Nathan. i know something was weird about him when i met him. You see how one thing leads to another. why cant it just go back to how it was before.

i wrote this chapter with a headache and it did not feel good but heres our chapter im thinkin abot changin the title but thats a lot of work, i half to change the ocver and that was hard to make. but anyway the youtube video is the song i listened to while writing this.
