"Oh come on, Eds! This is going to be fun! Turn that frown upside down" Richie nodded his head along to the Ghost Busters theme song playing through the car's speakers. His fingers tapped the beat against the steering wheel. Eddie just rolled his eyes from the passenger seat and stared out the window.

"I can't believe I let you talk me into this" he sighed heavily. He laid his head against the cool glass of the window. "And you really need to stop calling me that. You know I hate-"

"These ghosts are going to be the ones scared!" Richie cut him off. "They'll see us and know we're about to fuck shit up!" he laughed louder than the music which made Eddie roll his eyes once again.

"We're just staying the damn night, not fighting ghosts" Eddie glared over at his boyfriend who had the widest smirk ever on his face.

"Fine, we'll just make friends. They can join The Losers Club with us!"

"Just shut up and drive would you? Are we almost there?"

"Almost, Eddie Spaghetti!"

A bit later, Richie pulled into the parking lot of the hotel and parked the car. Eddie sighed heavily and stared out the windshield at the building. The hotel was lit up beautifully and had a pale yellow aesthetic to the outside structure. It didn't look scary at all. Richie was out of the car first and already grabbing their bags from the back of the car. Eddie sheepishly opened his door.

Richie carried the bags around the car to meet up with Eddie and grinned at him before walking ahead to lead the way. Eddie followed close behind. Richie checked them in while Eddie was busy looking over his shoulder for dead people. Richie had made sure to get them booked in what was rumored to be the most haunted room. Room 118.

After they were instructed to where the room was, Richie led the way. Eddie stayed close behind the taller boy. As they entered the hall to their room, Eddie quickly grabbed the back of Richie's shirt and bit his lip nervously.

"You're alright Eds" Richie called over his shoulder. Eddie didn't even argue over the nickname. "Can you get the door?" He held the keycard out between two fingers, careful not to drop the bags. Eddie eyed the card and then the door before he took the piece of plastic from his boyfriend. Eddie carefully unlocked the door and pushed it open then let Richie enter first.

Richie walked in through the door bravely. He set the bags down beside the bed and looked around.

"Hey ghosts! It's me, ya boy Richie" Richie spoke to the air with a wide smirk on his face.

"Richie shut up" Eddie glared and looked around the menacing room quietly. "This is so stupid. I hate you for bringing me here!"

"Oh stop it, Eds. You're upsetting our new friends" Richie chuckled and jumped onto the bed. "Ahhh... I'm on a cloud!" Richie looked at Eddie and held his arms out. "Join me, my little stud muffin"

"You're so stupid" Eddie groaned and walked over to the bed. Richie pulled Eddie down on top of him and wrapped his arms around Eddie's smaller body.

"I'm your stupid though" Richie kissed all over Eddie's face before laying his head back again. "See, this place isn't scary" as soon as Richie finished his sentence, the light started to flicker. Eddie instantly tightened his grip on Richie and looked around.

"Oh my god, what is that?" Eddie whined. Richie moved Eddie off from him carefully and sat up. He looked around and his smile only widened.

"Ghostys, is that you?" Richie teased with a slight laugh. The lights went out for a second. Eddie clung to Richie.

"What the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck" Eddie hissed. He hid his face against Richie's back. The lights turned back on and Eddie steadied his breathing.
