Clem's POV
I was asleep when I heard a knock at my door "Wake up sweet pea" said my mom Carley. I was adopted at 8 by Lee and Carley. Then 3 years passed and they adopted a 1-year-old named AJ and since then we've been a happy family. Now 5 years later I'm in high school, AJ is in 1st grade and lee is a history teacher at my school.
"Five more minutes" I groaned as I covered my head with my pillow. "Do I really need AJ to help? " I can get him right now" she snickered "no..give me a second to get up. I'll be right there" "ok don't take to long we have an hour until we go," Carley said she as left the room. I slowly crawl out of bed with my baggy PJ'S and grabbed my favorite hat, ready to start the day
*time skip*
Carley dropped off AJ at his elementary school, as she the same with me. I was going to see my best friends Gabe and Mari before 1st period. they're siblings and my next door neighbors. I met them when I was 13. But one thing about Gabe...I KNOW he has a crush on me. Even tho he hasn't told me.
We all met up by our lockers "hey clem!" Said Mari with a smile. "Hey.." I muttered with a tired voice as I bang my head on my locker. Gabe leaned against his locker and chucked "someone had a rough morning." "I'm very tired, my blood flows with coffee and soda." I say as grab some of my books. They both laughed as we started walking to our classes "are you able to hang out after school?" Mari asked. "No, AJ has a playdate with Tenn while mom and dad are out. So I have to be a big sister and watch them"
"That sucks," said Gabe " maybe another time" "yeah totally," I say with a smile which made Gabe blush. "Oooh, Gabe looks red!" Mari teased. "Shut up," Gabe said while looking down. The school bell rang and everyone scattered to their classes."I meet up with you guys at lunch" as I started walking faster to my class. We waved goodbye and went to our classes.
I have math as the first period. I walked into the class and notice a guy I've never seen in the school. Huh, he must be new. He had some dreadlocks, a green shirt and ripped pants. To be honest I didn't pay a lot of attention to him. He was sitting next to Marlon who is not that popular but he always has a group of friends such as Assim, Omar Mitch, and others. I sat down and started to listen to the teacher.
Skips 1 hour
We class was over and I walked to my locker I was going to meet Mari and Gabe there Until I heard.
Clementine Everett please come to the principal office.
"Crap what did I do?" my face got red. "Dads gonna be pissed" I walked to the principal's office nervous as hell. I walked into the room to see that boy that was in first period sitting in front of the principal's desk. "Hello, Clementine said the principal with a smile. I smiled back as I took a seat next to the boy. " Clem this is Louis. Louis this is Clem".we glanced at each other then looked back at the principal. "Louis is new to this school, I need you to show him around, Clem" ok this can't be that bad I'm just going to show him around. "How long until this will be going on?" asked Louis. "Well until you get used to the school," said the principal. " You guys will be partners for class, projects ETC." Louis and I looked at each other, Louis shrugged and then I decide "ok I don't mind" "great! Said the principal " you guys should be on your way now. Get to know each other". Louis and I walked out of the office and started walking
"So your name is Louis?" I asked him
"That's my name." he said with a smile
"Well it's nice to meet you, Louis"
