Clem's Pov
It's now passing time in school. Mari, Gabe and I are studying at a Table but mostly chatting. "Clem?" said Gabe. "Yeah?". " what's up with you and Louis?" He questioned. "Oh, h-he's a friend, why?" "it's just you guys hang out a lot and we haven't had time to chat." "don't worry I'm just making him feel welcome and we WILL have time to hang out I promise".as soon as I say that, Louis and Marlon come walking pass us. I could tell that they were going somewhere so I just gave them a wave and a hi. They smiled back and disappeared into the distance. We kept talking until Gabe said." I'm gonna use the bathroom." he got up and suspiciously went the same direction as Louis and Marlon. But at first, I didn't think of it and I kept talking to Mari.
Louis pov
I was in a small group talking to Marlon, Aasim, and Mitch. Then all of sudden Gabe comes out of nowhere and asked me "hey Louis can I talk to you?"." uh right now?" asked back." yes...". I had to excuse my self from the group to go with Gabe. This better is important.
Time Skip!
Were now outside the school where no one can see us." why are we here again?" I said. "What's up with you and Clem?" Gabe said in a serious tone. I was kind of confused "I'm sorry, what?'' " you and Clem," he said once again. "You guys hang out a lot, you guys must be close." "I-I'm still confused, where are you getting at?" "do you like her?"
My brain turned into mush at this point."I-I mean, I don't really-". "Ok, you obviously like her". He said with a small chuckle." I'm gonna have to ask you to stay away from Clementine." he says crossing his arm." why what would happen if I went near her?" I keep asking. As he was about to say another word, The bell rang and we had to get to class."Just stay away from her". Then he ran to class. I'm STILL confused. But I started to run to my class.
Clem's Pov
I was in biology along with Mari, Aasim, Mitch, ruby, James, and Duck. Where's Louis? I thought he had this Class. Mr.Mark walked into the room. Mr.mark would have to be the most laid back teacher here. " alright class le-". "I'm here!" Louis runs into class, panting as he'd just ran a marathon. My face lit up when he walked in the class. "Just go take a seat I'm not in the mood to write down you as late," said Mr. Mark. How is this guy not fired? I saw Louis look this way and smiled but then frowned. Then he went to sit next to James. Did I do something wrong?

I tried calling and texting Louis but he hasn't answered. I did something wrong.

I walked on to Louis's porch and knocked in the door. I was anxious and scared that he was going to be mad. The door opened to see the adorable dread-headed boy with basketball shorts and a tank top. "C-Clem! I-" I cut off Louis by hugging him. He hugged me back. A wave of relief washes over me. " you can't be here." He said gripping onto my shoulders. "Why? I'm worried about you. What's going on?". I kept questioning. " hurry, come inside". He told me, keeping the door open. I did what he said and came inside since it was a little chilly outside. "Louis, tell me". I demanded. " you mind wanna sit down for this". He said scratching his neck. I sat down on the couch and Louis sat down with me. "It's about Gabe".

I was shocked at what Gabe told Louis. " oh no I'm so sorry". I said with my hands covering my face. Louis lowered my hands making me look at him. "You didn't do anything wrong". He smiled making my cheeks sting. I got up from the couch and walked to the door. " I'm gonna go talk to him." Louis grabbed my hand before I could leave. "Not now, It's just going to make more trouble". " you can tell him later but not now". "Well, what do I do know?". I questioned backing away from the door. " maybe we can..hangout?". He said with his face turning slightly pink. "Yeah, sure!" I said with my face turning pink also. " what do you wanna do?". He asked. "I don't know, this is your house," I said looking around. I see Louis's bedroom door slightly cracked open. I push it open to see any other bedroom but I also see a keyboard in the center of the room. "Oh cool! I didn't know you had this". I said walking into the room with Louis behind me. " oh yeah, got that from Marlon on my birthday". "Can you play anything?". I saw a smirk creeping onto his face. " yeah let me bring it out". He said grabbing the keyboard and carrying it to the living room.
He placed down the keyboard in front of the couch, sat down and I sat down with him. "So what songs can you play?". He cracked with knuckles, smiled and started to sing a song that shocked me.

Fell into the foaming brine.
Ruby lips above the water,
Blowing bubbles, soft and fine;
But Alas! I was no swimmer,
So I lost my Clementine.
When the miner forty-niner,
Soon began to peak and pine,
Thought he oughter "jine" his daughter,
Now he's with his Clementine.
Louis pov
"How was that?" I said smiling at Clem. Her face was red but smiling ear to ear. " That was amazing". She said with a small giggle. "Can you play your own music, anything small would be great". " you sure?". "Yeah, I think you're good at this, I wanna hear more". Clem said scooting closer to me. " If you say so". I said thinking of a song I could play. I place my hands on the keys and started to play a song. I hummed to the song as Clem listened. All of a sudden she lays her head on my shoulder, almost making me mess up. She also started to hum along with me.
After about 10 minutes I got tired. "Maybe we sh-". I stop at the site of Clem sleeping, with her head on my shoulder. She looked so adorable I froze for a second. I chuckled a bit and lightly pushed her so she could lay down. I put my keyboard back into my room, came out with a small blanket and laid it over Clementine. I lightly kissed her forehead and left her alone until she woke up.
