Louis pov
"Well its Nice to meet you, Louis," said Clem. I, now new to the school is living with Marlon. I and Marlon are close friends until I move then I came back to see him again. "Where are we going?" I asked "I was going to introduce you to my friends," she told me "or do you want me to show you the classrooms first?" "no, I don't mind seeing your friends". I say. We walked outside to see two people walking up to us. " hey clem" said the girl "who he?" "that's Louis, he's new I'm just showing him around" clem answered. "Louis this is Mariana and Gabe". Mariana gave me a nice welcome but this "Gabe guy" keeps giving me the stink eye and he hasn't said a word to me except "hey". " you ok Gabe?" clem asked "yeah just fucking great" he says looking down at his shoes.
"Anyway we need to go I need to show him the classrooms," says clem breaking the tension. We all waved goodbye and started to walk back to the school. "Well..what do like to do?" clem says awkwardly. "Well, I play the piano very well if I do say so my self." I boasted "oh really?" said clem with a smirk "yep, might be the next Mozart". " highly doubt," she said "how? You haven't even heard me yet!" I chuckled. "touche" we stopped history class. clem knocked on the door. a tall man walked out the door."hey dad!" clem said hugging the huge male. "Hey, sweet pea how's your day?" he asked "good! I just wanted to show a new kid around". " hi I'm Louis" I introduced myself. "Hi I'm clem's dad or you can call me Mr.Everett. Mr.Everett heeled out his hand wanting me to shake his hand. I shook his hand them clem said: " do you mind if I can show him the classroom?" "ok just don't make a mess It's almost time for the second period".
Clem showed me the classroom for five minutes. Said goodbye to Mr. Everett then left. I don't know how and I don't know why but it's something about Clem. we talked at lunch she's funny, relatable. It's just...I don't know what it's called
Time skipped to the end of the school
The bell rang and I needed to pack up quick to see Clem. I grab my backpack and rush out the door. I could tell that clem was walking home. I rushed up to clem trying to catch my breath." hey, you ok?" Clem says with a giggle. "Yeah I'm...fine..". " anyway I wanted to talk to you about something," I said catching my breath "what's that something?" she asked "well I liked that we hang out to today and y-you're really cool, so I'm wondering if we hang out more" her face lit up "I'd love that!". Seeing her smile had me flustered. " when are we able to hang out?" "I'm able tomorrow after school," she said "Awesome!" "wait a minute". She stopped and took a sharpie marker out of her pocket." what are you doing?" I asked, "do you have a piece of paper?" "no.." I answered "then give your arm," she said. I hesitantly gave her my arm and she wrote down a number on my arm.
"Call me when you get the chance" she winked. My face turned 50 shades of red. "Sorry I have to go pick up my brother, see you tomorrow! ". "B-bye Clem" I stuttered then she disappeared into the distance
Skip to Marlon's place
I walked into the door and dropped hung my bag up " hey Louis" said Marlon. "Hey..." I say as I plopped on the couch. "You ok? He asked "just great," I said back. "What that on your arm?". Me, now remembering clem wrote her number on my arm, put my arm behind my back. " nothing I shot back. "Why can't I see it" he questioned, "you ask too many questions" "let me see!". He eventually got a hold of my arm. "Shit" I muttered "is this a girls number? He asked with a smirk "maybe" "shit Louis" Marlon said, "you only been in this school for about 2 days and you already got a girls number!" "Dude she's my study partner" right.," he smirked. "What's her name?"
"Clementine," I say pulling out my phone "whoa," said Marlon "your lucky she puts up with you, lots of guys pay attention to her". Me not listening to Marlon is sticking out my arm as I dial a phone number I'm my phone. " you gonna call her?" "Yeah, I'ma go outside" I pressed call and walked out the door. "Come on pick up.." It took 15 seconds I heard. " hello?" "is this ms clementine?" I said, "Louis is that you?" she said with a small giggle "No this is the president" "oh Har Har Har" she shot back. "Anyways I was wondering where should we hang out?" I asked. " well I'm babysitting my brother and his friend tomorrow and I don't wanna be alone so are you able to come to the park with us?"
"Sure! What time?" I asked again."3 ish" she answered back. And after we talked for a while until I heard In the background of HER phone. "Clem come on! Disco broccoli is starting soon!". I could tell that was her brother. " give me a second AJ!" She yelled back. "Sorry Louis got to go or else I'm gonna get an ear full out of AJ," she said with a small laugh which made my heart flutter. "Y-yeah see ya tomorrow" I stutter a bit. "Bye!" Then she hung up. I couldn't stop smiling after that. I went back into the house and started walking to my room. "How did it go?" Marlon asked. I didn't answer and just kept smiling. I walked into my room, shut the door laid on the bed.
