28 - Painful Decision

"We could have drop by at the hospital, Mahal para masigurado natin na ok kayo ni Baby." I worriedly said but Jade shook her head.

"It's just a stomach cramp, Love. I'll be fine." Sagot niya. "The kids are waiting for us." Dagdag niya, Jade is 6 weeks pregnant and this pregnancy is giving her difficult moments. She's been experiencing morning sickness, vomitting at times. She said that it's normal pero hindi siya ganito noon sa kambal at lalo akong nagaalala sa kanya. We just came from a dinner with Denise and Aly, the two are planning to go back to US after more than two months of getting married. They too wanted to have a baby of their own. Nauna na kasi silang umuwi after their wedding because of commitments.

"Napapadalas na ang sakit ng tiyan mo, Mahal." Sabi ko na. "We're going to the doctor tomorrow and I won't take no for an answer."Utos ko.

"The kids have a school program tomorrow and I need to be there, Love." Tanggi niya.

"I can ask Yaya Caring to go with them to the school."

"No, Love. Please kaya ko pa naman eh. After school I will call you and we can go to the hospital." Pakiusap niya.

"Pero Jade." Pakiusap ko pabalik.

"It's just a half day event, I will call you after lunch." she insisted. Wala na akong nagawa.

"Ok, sige. We will go after lunch then." Sabi ko nang pagsuko.

I woke up with a sound of vomit, it's Jade again at agad akong napabangon at tumakbo ng bathroom.

"Mahal, are you alright?" Tanong ko ng makita ko siya.

"It's just a morning sickness, Love." sagot niya.

"We can go to your doctor this morning if you want." alok kong muli.

"We agreed to go later, didn't we? I can handle this. Pangalawang pagbubuntis ko na ito Althea. There's nothing to worry.

"You've been delaying your appointments to the doctor, Jade. Mas dapat ngayon ka nagpapa doctor."

"I'm sorry Love, this time tuloy na tayo. Maaga pa kasi para magpacheck up eh." pag kalma niya sa akin.

"We are definitely going, Mahal. Namumutla ka na eh." Alala ko na sa kanya.

"I'm sorry for keeping you worry too much, Love." sabi niya sabay halik sa akin. "It is still very early, we can still go back to bed." Aya na niya sa akin. Nahiga na muli kami pero hindi na ako makatulog. "I will asked na rin why I often have this stomach pain at madalas na morning sickness." bulong niya as I am spo.oning her.

"Matagal na kitang tinatanong if you already had your check up pero sabi mo normal lang ang nararamdaman mo."

"I know, I know. I'm sorry..." she said kissing the back of my hand that's holding her. Minutes passed naramadaman kong nakatulog na si Jade pero hindi pa rin ako makatulog, nagaalala na talaga ako sa kanya. Alam ko maaga pa ang pagbubuntis niya pero kita ko ang paghihirap niya. I want a special care for her but she insisted that it's just normal. pag nakikita ko siyang laging pagod at madalas mag banyo ay nagaalala na ako. Mas nag panic ako when I saw her bleeding but she said it was the same as she had the twins before. I don't know why pero nagaalala talaga ako sa pagbubuntis niya ngayon.

We're in the middle of discussion with one of our team when Andrea came rushing in to me.

"Althea, emergency. Sinugod si Jade aa hospital..."

"What?!..." bigla kong tayo. "Bakit daw?" Pero hindi ko na hinintay ang sagot niya. I immediately got my phone and dialed. "Hello Dada are you in your office?... si Jade po..."
