Kao's pov.

"Beep! Beep! Beep!"
"Ughhhh!"
"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!"
"UGHHHH FINE!!!"
I shout as I turn of my alarm and get out of bed. It's Monday, which means I have to get up early to go to class. 'I mean who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to make children wake up early, just to go to some stupid place for class! Look I'm a nerd, and I like school, but even I hate getting up early just to go to that damn place. But I guess that's just life.' I thought to myself as I made my way to the bathroom. I can't help but have a strange feeling in my stomach. It's as if my gut is trying to warn me, but I just brush it of thinking I'm simply hungry. But even after heading downstairs and eating breakfast I still feel wierd. So that's why I decided to go out earlier to take a longer walk and get some chocolate milk. But even that didn't help. Maybe I'm geting sick? If it gets any worse through out the day, I'll just go home and take a rest. But as I'm arriving to the uni, I'm seeing a few students just looking at me with smirks on their faces. I was a bit confused, but I didn't think much of it. Not until I got to the uni, that's when I started to get freaked out. Everyone was either staring at me, smirking or giving me a look of disgust. I was starting to freak out, trying to find a rational reason as to why they would act like this towards me. I decided to go to my usual table to look for my friends, maybe they can tell me what's going on. As I got there I saw Thada and June and I ran up to them. They were rather confused as to why I was running until they saw everyones piercing stares. I could see they were starting to feel uncomfortable. I wanted to talk to them but there were too many people staring at us so I dragged them to the staircase of the haunted floor. As soon as we got there June screamed "What the hell is going on with everyone. Did you do something Kao? Why was everyone staring at you? Or maybe it's not you but me, or someone else from the gang that did something?" June started to freak out thinking about everything he's done to find a reason for the stares. Meanwhile I saw Thada quickly tipe something before saying "San is coming, maybe she has an answer as to why all of this is happening." And just a few moments later we saw san approaching us with a worried look. Then she spoke up "Well....tthis whole thing is going crazy....and I don't know much except...." she paused for a moment and looked at me before continuing "someone posted an audio clip....and in it Kao's voice was heard....talking about how he's gay...and everything else..." she looked at me, her gaze was expressing what she was feeling. She was worried, but her gaze still looked soft and not too worrisome. I was still shocked upon hearing this though. I mean how would you feel if someone exposed your secrets to the whole uni (or school) and then everyone looked at you, some were disgusted, and some wanted to make your life a hell now. I snaped back from my thoughts when I heard June ask "Wait....so you're....gay?" His voice seemed calm and but serious which was not normal. I slowly nodded and he continued "And people are looking at you strangely because of that?"  "Well not just that but probably the most looks are because of that." I answered trying to stay as calm as possible.  Then he said "Well that's such a dumb reason! Are they crazy!? So what if you're gay, it doesn't affect their lives so why should they care!" June started screaming, he seemed furious. Thada and San nodded in agreement. That helped me a bit, because at least my friends accepted me the way I was. Suddenly all of our phones made a sound indicating a message. Everyone opened the phone and  we saw it was Pete sending something in a group chat.  The message read

We all looked at each other and then bucked it towards the canteen.  As we ran in everyone made way for us and we came to a table where Pete was sitting. He slowly stood up and climbed onto the table. He then turned around and said "Well,well, well, would you look at that. Our little girl came, oh I'm sorry I forgot. You're not a girl, you're just gay." And everyone started laughing with him. I was shocked, and frozen in place. I couldn't believe he did this. I trusted him so much, and he simply betrayed me and my trust. That's probably why I had that feeling in my gut. This is why I stopped trusting people with my secrets. And now the whole uni knows and will hate me. 'Ughhhhh! This is horrible. Why did I even think I liked an asshole like him!' And I felt my eyes starting to water up. I was about to cry and Pete thought it would be great to make fun of me even more "Oh would you look at that. He's crying like a crybaby! That just proves how weak you are! Why don't you just kill yourself and join your cousin, it wouldn't be a problem for you because you have a messed up brain anyways!" He just laughed at me while I was crying.
