Chapter 27: Back In The Band

"Not guilty."

I grin widely as everyone screamed, my eyes soon started to tear up. A security guard comes over and uncuffs me, I smile at him. "Thank you," I say to him and he nods before walking back. I rub my wrists and look at Ria, I smiled at her and hug her tightly.

"Thank you so much! Your the best!" I say and I pull away from her. She smiles at me and says,

"It's no problem really Lauren, just give me a call if you need anything at all." I nodded and she packs up her things. I walk over to Amanda as they put cuffs on her, she was sentence to five years in jail for killing a minor.

"Hey," I say once I reach her and told the guards to wait before they took her away.

"Thank you, for what you did really. I honestly thought I was gonna get thrown in jail for something I didn't do." I say and she smiles, I hug her briefly before she was taken away.

I smile a little before turning around. I look at my family and smiled at them. We all left the court room, I ask the girls where are they going today and they say that they were hoisting some auditions today.

I suddenly had a idea.

"Oh, alright. I'll meet with you guys later," I say and they wave at me as they got in the car. They drove away. I turn to my family, my fingers fiddling with each other as I look at them.

"I need to get my place back in Fifth Harmony before they choose." I say and they nodded.

"I'll drive you there," Dad says and I nodded, smiling as we got in the car. We drove over there and when we got there, there was a lot of people in lines.

"Shit," I mutter as I look at the line. I took in a deep breath, feeling like I was in the X Factor again.

"Are you gonna stand in that line?" Chris asks me and I shook my head.

"Hell no, I'm gonna cut and get my place back before they choose." I say and got out of the car. A hand hold me back before going inside, I turn around to find Taylor giving me a snapback.

"Make it a surprise," She says and I smile. I grab the snapback and put it on my head, I pull it down so it could cover my eyes and grab some sunglasses too. I headed inside, going to the room where they all were.

"Next please!" I heard Normani yell and I walk in, my head bent. I walk up to the mic stand while they all talk. They were all seated in a table in front of me.

"I feel like we're back in the X Factor again," Camila says happily and they nodded, agreeing.

"Yeah, I know right? I'm Simon!" Dinah says and I chuckle under my breath.

"I'm Demi!" Camila says then Ally says.

"I'm Brittney," Then Normani says.

"Then I'm L.A. Reid. Anyways, what's your name, age, which song will you sing and why do you want to be in Fifth Harmony?" Normani says and I grab the mic.

I didn't answer her questions though, I just started singing.

I sang Over with as much passion and love I had into the song, pouring my heart and soul into that single song. When I was finish, I grab my snapback and glasses and threw them on the ground while looking at my girls.
