Chapter 18: Hanging Out

I decided to hang out with the girls today, seeing as I had some kind of feeling in my stomach that something is going to go wrong sometime soon.

So, that day, I got up early to cook breakfast for them.

Mom already left so she went back home but made me call her if I ever wanted to talk about anything.

I paddle down the hallway to the kitchen. As I made breakfast, I softly sing to myself. After breakfast, I plan to take them to the mall then the movies so we can watch something. Just a girls day out.

Finishing breakfast off, I called down the girls.

"Guys! Wake up! Breakfast is ready!" I yelled and soon heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I smile as they all race to the kitchen, but then Camila trips and they went tumbling to the floor.

I laugh at them as they groan in pain. I quickly took the chance and took a picture of them and tweeted it.

'Look who was hungry? ;)' And sent it out with the picutre.

They mutter insults and got up before starting to eat. Shaking my head, I smile at them. As I ate with them, I told them what I wanted to do today with them.

"So, I was thinking we could have a girls day out and just hang out. We can go to the mall then can go watch a movie, what do you girls think?" I say, propping up my elbow so I can lean on it.

"Sure,"

"We can do that."

"It'll be cool,"

"It'll be fun!"

I smiled and after eating, we got ready. I grab my keys and waited in the car for them. My neck hurt a little if I strain it too much but other then that I'm fine. The girls soon can outside and Ally locks the door behind them. They got inside the car and I drove to the mall while we sang along to whatever played on the radio.

At the mall, I park the car and follow the girls inside. We shop around for a bit and we met some fans that were there too. It's always fun seeing them and talking to them, without them, we wouldn't be a girl group today.

We're so thankful of them.

"Hey Lauren, can you sign my boobs?" A girl asks me and I chuckle but nod. I grab the black marker and signed her boobs, she smiles. She takes a picture of me before going to one of the other girls.

"Sign my forehead Lauren?" Another girl asks me and I nod, signing her forehead with a smile on my face. We took pictures and talk before she went to the other girls.

I sign, talk and took pictures with them before we had to go. I drove us to the closet cinema as the girls talk happily about meeting our fans today. When we got there, we bicker to see which movie we should see and ended up watching Transformers; Age of Extinction.

It was really good.

After the movie, I took them out to eat. It was already getting dark out but we didn't mind, we were going to leave soon.

As we were talking, a girl walk up to us. She look straight at me.

"I think I cause you too much trouble," She says and I look at her confusedly, she takes a knife out and stabs herself.

"Oh my god!" We shriek and I got up, catching the girl before she hits the floor.

I cradle her in my arms, putting pressure on her wound as the girls yelled for help.

"What do you mean? Why did you stab yourself? Why do you think you caused me so much trouble?" I ask her and she shakes her head, she whispers in my ear.

"I was the one that killed that boy,"

I gasp, looking at her with wide eyes. "Your that girl that push me away and when I ran out, I heard a shot rang out." I say and she nods.

"I'm a fan, I saw you at the pub and thought you just wanted some alone time, so I spent the time dancing and drinking but when I saw you come down that hall, scared and that guy came after you. You were in trouble so I didn't want you to end up hurt but then I saw you shot him twice and knew you'll get in a lot of trouble and your career would be in trouble, so I push you away, told you to run then I uh killed him, I wasn't thinking." She says and her eyes rolls to the back of her head.

"No, no, no hey stay with me, please!" I say and shook her to wake up, tears threaten to spill.

"Lauren, the ambulance is here." Normani says and I nod, the paramedics came and took her away.

"Will she be alright?" I ask them, slightly trembling.

They nod. "She'll be alright, don't worry." And they took her away.

I walk to my car, not focusing on anything right now.

"Hey, Lauren, what's up? What did she tell you?" The girls caught up with me and walk beside me as I walk to my car. I lean against it, a little dizzy.

"Sh-She killed Devin after I ran out of the pub," I whisper and put a hand to my head.

"What?" They say.

"She thought I was in trouble, which I was, and told me to run out of there, she wasn't thinking when she killed him." I say and took out of my keys, handing them to Ally.

"I'll meet you girls at home, I'm gonna walk home and clear my head." I say to them, turn around and started to walk.

I stuff my hands in my pockets, walking down the sidewalk when I heard someone running up behind me.

They slow their pace to match mine an bump their shoulders with mine. "Hey, I thought you might needed some company." Camila says and I smile, nodding.

"Don't worry bout me Camz, just go with the girls, I can walk by myself." I tell her and she shakes her head.

"Nope, I'm staying with you." I sigh but went along with it.

I nodded toward a ally. "Lets take a short cut then." I say and she nods, following me down the ally.

I slowed down when I saw a few guys leaning against the wall. They push themselves off the wall and walk toward us slowly.

"Uh Lauren," Camila says nervously and I look behind us. A few guys were walking toward us from behind.

I grab Camila and push her behind me. "Camila, whatever happens, stay behind me." I tell her once they surrounded us, I stood in front of Camila protectively.

"What do you want?" I say, narrowing my eyes at them as I softly push Camila into the wall, keeping her trap between me and the wall.
