Meant To Be

Chapter 1

Francesca had been away for spring break for her senior year with her boyfriend of 2 years they had gone to Florida for one last trip before they go off to college. Her boyfriend Rhett was going to be going to University of Texas and she was staying in GA and going to University Of GA on cheer scholarship a dance scholarship and a academic scholarship. When she returned home she saw a big envelope laying on her bed addressed to her from the college and she opened it up and saw her letter and all the stuff that was in the envelope and she smiled so big even though she knew she was already in cause she accepted all of her scholarships getting the letter was making it even better. 

Then she read the next letter it was from the housing department at the school.

"Dear Francesca Monroe Burke

"Welcome to University of GA we are so happy to have you attend here this fall we wanted to let you know that since you are athlete you will be room mates with 3 other athletes in one of the athletic houses on Bulldog Nation Rd. Your house number is 230 and your room mates are:

Natasha Alinova Romanoff (cheerleader)

Steven Grant Rogers (Football and Basketball)

James Buchanan Barnes (Football and Basketball)

We can't wait to see you this Fall and don't forget Move In day is August 15th and First day of Class is August 17th. 

 The Housing Department

Frankie bit her lip and swallowed hard and thought to herself "This is bad.." 

She called Rhett and read him the letter and she said "I can see if I can be put up with girls if you don't feel comfortable" 

"Sweetheart I don't mind and it's probably already to late for all that. You are going to be fine maybe and you and the girl can share one of the bathrooms. I'm not the jealous type baby you know that." Rhett said 

"I know I just don't want to make you uncomfortable with you being so far away." Frankie said

"Frankie baby I love you and I trust you." he said 

"I love you too Rhett..I'm tired I"m going to bed now." she said

"Alright baby love you ." he said

"Love you too." she said and then she hung up the phone and laid down and said "Why couldn't we go to college together." 

Meanwhile about an hour from Brunswick GA in Savannah Bucky and his friends Natasha and Steve were sitting together in Bucky's kitchen opening up their letters they had gotten while they were in Florida. They had gotten to their housing letter and Nat said "Atleast we are together like we wanted now to see who this girl that is going to be with us." 

She pulled up Frankie's Instagram first and saw her bio 

"Frankie. Cheerleader,Dancer,Taken by Rhett Carson" 

"Uh oh...it seems little Miss is taken" Nat said as she scrolled through her pictures and said "But no wonder look at this girl. Dark hair green eyes and tanned and that body dear god." 

"Her boyfriend is damn lucky." Bucky said 

"Let's check out her facebook" Nat said 

She pulled up Frankie's facebook and she said "Oh yea Buck..I would keep my hands off this one look they have been together for two years."

"Then why isn't she rooming with him." Steve said 

Nat clicked on Frankie's boyfriend's facebook and said "Oh wow .. No wonder she's not rooming with him it seems the boyfriend isn't going to UGA he's going to U of Texas to play football." 

Bucky said "Well guess the boyfriend is an idiot." 

"Why do you say that?' Steve said 

"Cause if that girl was my girlfriend there is no way in hell I would let her go to college by herself and room with two dudes." Bucky said as he picked up his envelope and said "And I would be worried that one of them would try and get with her and steal her a way." 

Nat said "Buck..I wouldn't play that game. They have been together for two years and she looks like she's got a promise ring." 

"So? He's an idiot for letting her stay here why he goes off and whose to say that he won't cheat on her ass." Bucky said 

Nat and Steve left and went home. Bucky went down to his room and got on his laptop and looked up Frankie's facebook on his own and saw all of her pictures and he smiled and said "God darlin your boyfriend is an idiot." 

Back in Brunswick the only two of her room mates that Frankie could find were Steve and Nat's cause she didn't realize that Bucky's was under Bucky Barnes instead of James Barnes. She went through Natasha's pictures and whispered "Oh I remember that school at cheer competition they were really good." 

They all 4 finished out their senior years at their schools and Frankie was valedvictorian at her high school. A few weeks into summer vacation Rhett had to leave to start training for the upcoming season she drove him to the air port and they said their goodbyes and he said "Baby you can fly out to see me all you have to do is let me know I'll get you a ticket I'll miss you but I can face time you and call and text you anytime. I love you my sweet darlin." 

"I love you too. Be good and careful and have fun just not to much fun." she said 

He kissed her one last time as they called his flight and he said "love you baby." 

"Love you too." she said 

He boarded his flight and she left the airport and cried all the way home. She spent the rest of her summer either laying by her pool or keeping herself trained at the gymnastics place so she wasn't out of it when her practice started. Bucky and Steve spent their summer driving back and forth to football training but they decided to ride together so they weren't wasting so much gas.
