The sun slowly Rose over the house and the morning was cool. The scent of dew drops and sweet freshly wet grass wafted over the air and another smell came from the kitchen of the house food, really good cooked food. Someone had gotten up early to make breakfast for the whole pack. Jade was rolled up tightly into her mate. She would not budge from his side even in her sleep. Erin was hers again. Jade had been passed out after there wonderful night of sleeping together. It would forever be carved into her mind. However her motherly duties were something she could not sherk. Her daughter was up and whimpering. Jade turned and pulled her pup into her. She softly kissed her pup on the nose. Jade whispered to her and nuzzled her."Want something to eat my little pup?" She asked softly as to hopefully not wake her mate. Jade sighed as she carefully removed her Mates arms from around her. Standing Jade went to dress in sweats and a tank top. She had just been in undwear and a bra. Jade carried Lyn down to the kitchen and got her some milk and food. She fed Lyn as she ate some bacon. "Mommy why do all these people live in this house."She asked." Well sweet heart they are all your aunts and Uncles they are family. We're.." Jade stopped and sighed."well we are called a pack. Because baby we are wolves, we turn into wolves." She said. she was trying to best to tell her daughter, but she wasn't sure her daughter would understand. Her daughter looked at her."When do I turn into a wolf mommy?" Lyn asked."Not for a few years baby." She said. Jade had wanted to do it on her own terms but this, was slightly forced. She knew if children knew the change would come faster. Jade watched her daughter eat." Can we go out an play mommy?" Lyn asked."In a little bit baby." Jade told her as she grabbed coffee and something to eat.
Jade looked up when Shane came down. He rubbed Lyns head." What's up kiddo." He said. Shane smiled, Jade watched him and said for Lyn to eat she be back. Jade grabbed Shane and slammed him into a wall outside."Now tell me what the fuck happened the other day. You are going to tell me." She said. Shane bit his lips and sighed as he told her, which changed Jade's mood to a dark one. Jade nods "Thanks." She said. She went into grab her daughter and went to go sit by the lake and watch her daughter play. Jade was super pissed.
Shane cursed,"Oh fuck." He ran up and knocked on the door."Erin man get up Jade forced me to tell her what Lyssa did and she walked off with Lyn." He said. "Erin come on man." He said."You need to go talk to her.I am sorry she cornered me." He said
Erin had been sleeping quite soundly. It had been an amazing night and he was feeling great just snoozing away, even the smell of breakfast hadn't been enough to completely rouse him from his dreams. It wasn't until there was a loud knocking at the door that he finally stirred, sitting up and shaking off the grogginess. He heard Shane's voice and then the words he said, shaking his head and rolling his eyes in frustration as he got up and put on only a pair of pants. 'Not how I wanted to start my day' He opened the door slowly a little less than happy, and in a similar fashion to earlier, Erin grabbed Shane and hemmed him up against a wall.
"You really know how to ruin a mood," he snarled, thinking about how this might complicate the day, "You were better off keeping your trap shut, and just letting her blow some steam off however she needed. The last thing this Pack needs is more division or problems." He leaned in for a moment, taking a few sniffs. 'Val, huh?'. He released Shane and grumbled low to himself, this was not what he wanted to wake to. Hopefully he'd be able to calm Jade down before this became a thing. Females were certainly the territorial and protective type, and also the type to hold a grudge, and Erin wasn't in the mood for any such feelings to fester and negatively impact the Pack.
There was that reasoning and the fact that both of those women were important people to him for various reasons and to various degrees. Jade was his one and only, his mate, his lover, the mother of his child, his everything. On the other hand, Alyssa was his best female friend, someone he knew he could count on, reliable, always had his back, and was (usually) looking out for his best interest. Jealousy had gotten the best of her the other day and she had done something foolish, with that in mind, he was hoping to extinguish a fire before it even got started or became a raging inferno.
