A Loosing Battle

As the morning sun barely rose a soft blue hue lit up the sky. Jade slowly woke and looked at her sleeping mate. She finally rolled to sit up and go shower. She put on a black easy slip off dress since she be changing. Her hand rubbed at the tears under her eyes as she looked out the window an sat on the window sill. She waited for her mate to wake up. When he did she looked at him. “I need to talk to you.”She said and nods to the balcony. “ I wanted to be happy last night I knew this would fuel your anger today and hopefully I am wrong, but you were right. Marius betrayed me. He brought Ulric here. My uncle is here. He wants me and Lyn.I am scared Erin I don't want to leave you again, but something in me tells me I may not have a choice this time. I won't see any of you die to try and save me especially you, I couldn't bare it if you weren't alive.”She said. She felt his arms wrap around her and she buried her head into his chest. “I love you, I don't want to be without you ever again.”Jade said. Her eyes went up to his and accepted his kisses and wiping her tears away. After a bit the sun started peak over the horizon. “ We need to eat something and get ready, there coming.”She said. I can hear them wolves from all directions but the north and humans from the north. The vampires are in the shadows waiting.”She said. Her ears,nose and eyes picking everything up. “Leave Marius be he will no longer be allowed on the territories after today, and any one can harm him after he leaves today.”She said.

Walking in with him inside, she woke Lyn and dressed her. She walked down to make food for the pack well eggs and heat up the meat from last night. She looked up when Shane and Val joined. She noticed Shanes Hand in Vals. She raised a eyebrow at her mates sister, but she get the details later. Next were Alex and Lexi, she again raised a eyebrow. However she guessed the pack facing two Enemies at once they find solace in pack mates and maybe it would continue after if they made it. In came Hailey, Mina, Steven, and Derek, after them Jax, Alyssa and Jeremy. She set plates down and ate a little her left hand in Erin's right hand. They ate in silence, glancing at one another without a word. When the meal was finished the plates piled in the sink. Jade hugged Val and Shane. She thanked him for watching Lyn. She nods to the others before listening to Erin. Speak to them. Jeremy stepped up after them. “Were ready as we'll ever be humans other wolve today the Vampires are our allies. If it doesn't smell like a vampire and you don't recognize them kill them.”Jeremy growled. Jades head turned when she heard a Vampire snarl. “There here.”She said.

Her eyes landed to the north seeing the hunters coming. She jumped phasing mid Jump and taking the space in 3 bounds. She could feel the others on her heels. Her eyes narrowed in on Shaw. Her mouth opened in a snarl and she jumped for him landing on him. Her teeth sunk into his neck ripping and tearing his head clean off. Her white fur mawed with blood. Her ex dead by her paws. She watched the next human try to come at her before she wrapped her jaws around its neck and crushed it. Humans were to easy for her to take on her own. She let a few escape her swipe. They were retreating from her and staying far out of the line of fire. Lyn had been at her side helping. She was her little spit fire. Jade growled at her daughter to call her back when she noticed Shane struggling with Jace.

Shane was mad but didn't have the strength to take him down. Bounding over she barrel tackled Jace and they rolled into a few others. She slammed him to the ground standing over him snarling her teeth inches from his throat. Shane had come over and nudged her and shook his wolf. She bit his shoulder sending Jace off squealing in pain. She nudged Shane and went to go help her mate and there daughter. She jumped into the fight it was 4 leaders on Jeremy and Erin. She grabbed one by the leg snapping it as she did pulling him off her mate. A female wolf had turned to her and launched herself at Jade. Jade growled and side stepped her the female got a hold of her leg and she turned snarling. Her paw smacking her off. Her strength was ten times that of others. She couldn't feel the scrapes and teeth marks that bled. Jade sent the female off with fur missing.
