Part 2 - First Encounter

"Do you guys want to have another meal?" the waiter looks at us, he flashes me a smile. I slowly look at Juanhyu, he smiles and shakes his head. "We're all good" he smiles and the waiter nods, he takes away our plates, he puts a napkin down in front of me. "Did he just?" Juanhyu looks at me and chuckles, I grab the napkin and look at it "Yeah he did" I laugh. Jamie chuckles and looks at the waiter, "You should go for it, he's kind of cute" she smiles, I shake my head. "No I don't want to date until I found the right person" Jamie smiles, "That is so cute" she looks at Juanhyu, he presses a kiss on her forehead. "I wanted to do this alone with you Jamie but I think it's time right now" Juanhyu stands up and gets down on one knee. "Sweet Jamie, we know each other since college and immediately felt a connection, would you do the honour and marry me?" Juanhyu gets a small red velvet box (a/n pun intended) out of his pocket. My mouth drops and I look at Jamie who has tears in her eyes, she nods enthusiastically and wraps her arms around his neck "Now come from the floor you dumbass" she smiles and presses a kiss on his lips. "You guys are so cute together" I look at them and Juanhyu smiles softly, "One day you will find someone for yourself" he smiles and he grabs my hand "Maybe soon" he winks and then grins. "Yeah maybe you are going to have a relationship with SHINee members" Jamie says enthusiastically. I shake my head and a soft laugh rolls over my lips, "No, those boys deserve anything but me" I say with a soft blush on my face. Juanhyu slaps my arm softly "Yah!" he screams, everyone in the restaurant looks at us. An even deeper red colour creeps on my face, "Don't you ever say such thing again!" Juanhyu looks at me and Jamie looks surprised. "You are good enough for them? Why are you saying such nonsense?" she looks at me. I look at my food, "I-it's just that they deserve so much better" I slowly look up at the couple in front of me.

"Come here" Jamie wraps her arms around me and she slowly pats my head, she always used to be some kind of mother figure to me. I didn't like it all the time but sometimes that's all I needed. "Never say such things, you are a beautiful girl and everything a boy wishes for" She looks at me, Jamie always used to do that to me, she always just makes me calm when I was frustrated or a bit depressed.

"I'll see you tomorrow" Juanhyu ruffles my hair and I nod with a small smile, "Bye love birds" I smile and give both a hug. "Remember what I said because I meant it Hanaji" Jamie puts her hand on my shoulder and presses a kiss on my cheek. "I'll see you another time."

My eyes follow the couples whom walks hand in hand, my eyes follow them until they are around the corner disappearing into the night. A sigh leaves my mouth and I start walking home, the sun already set and the darkness of the cold evening fills the space. A cold breeze is everywhere, I slowly close my jacket more and more. My hair dances on the wind and I look around. My eye falls on a few boys who are sitting next to each other near the lake. "They look familiar" I whisper to myself, I squeeze my eyes together to look better but someone runs into me. My bum touches the ground and I scrunch my nose, "Ouch" I mumble to myself, then it hits me. Hot coffee falls over me and the burning feeling follows me. "I'm so sorry!" the guy says as he stands up quickly, he holds his hand out and I take it, "It's okay, it's not like you could do anything about it." I flash him a smile and my eyes widen. "Key?" I ask nervously. The man in front of me nods with a small smile, "Hanaji right?" he looks at me, his eye scan my clothing and he smiles, "You know who I am?" I ask surprised, Key laughs softly and nods. "Of course I do, you are the topic at the moment in SM Entertainment" A blush creeps up on my face. Key smiles and looks at me, a disappointed look appears on his face. "I have to go, otherwise Taemin and Minho will wake up the whole neighbourhood" He smiles and I nod softly, I bow to him "Bye Key-sunbaenim" I smile, Key laughs "Just call me oppa or just Key" He smiles and walks off. A sigh leaves my mouth as I watch him walk away. I turn around myself and look at my blouse, luckily it's not all white but I do have to get it out.

My cat jumps on the dryer next to me, "Hey Nala" I smile and pet her softly. I put some shout on my blouse and look at Nala, she is looking my movements. "I met Key today" I say with a smile, I look at the cat, she is so adorable. Soft meows are coming from her mouth. "Yes really, he threw coffee on me" I pet Nala her small head. My phone rings and I get it from the dryer. "Hello this is Hanaji speaking?" Juanhyu his voice fills my earhole. "Sorry for calling at this time but I wanted to let you know that I'm picking you up tomorrow so expect me early in front of your house." A sigh leaves my mouth, "Okay but why so early? I mean at what time is that meeting?" my eyes fall on Nala she is looking around for more food. "Well it's not that early but I still have to do a few things before we leave our entertainment for SM" Juanhyu says while Jamie her voice appears in the background, "Oh?" A chuckle rolls over my mouth. "Go to Jamie, I'll see you tomorrow" Juanhyu sighs, "Thank you, I'll see you tomorrow Hanaji, have a goodnight sleep."

I put my pyjamas on and look at my bed, Nala is laying near my pillow and I smile softly. She normally lays under my blanket because she thinks it is more comfortable or something. I walk towards my bed and sit slowly down, I pet Nala softly and she carefully opens her eyes. A soft sound leaves her mouth and I smile, "You can go back to sleep now" I whisper softly as I lay down. I throw the blankets over myself, Nala looks at me, the room is dark but I still can see her silhouette. "Nala don't look at me that's creepy" I chuckle and pet her softly. 

My eyes open again, I can't fall asleep. A sigh rolls over my mouth as I get out of my bed, my hair bounces a bit up. I had short hair and it surprised me entertainments wanted me, since I wasn't like the Korean Beauty standards. But apparently people loved it. I sit down in the kitchen and the cold chair touches my bare skin, I was wearing shorts and a pyjama blouse. It was very comfortable and I never could wear long pants or joggers to bed, I don't know why but I just can't. "Let me make some tea" I mumble to myself, I stand up and walk towards the kitchen counter, my eyes start searching for some cups and the stuff I need.

The warm feeling of the tea fills my throat, I smile softly. I slowly grab my phone and look at my screen, I have a lot of messages from old friends. Most of the times I didn't even hang out when we were little, they just want to have a piece of the little fame I have. My eye falls on a news article. "Model Hanaji signs contract with SM Entertainment" I whisper to myself, a smalls smile appears on my face. How can people know so fast what happens? Deep down I have a little bit of respect for them but they're annoying.

My feet slowly drag me on the stairs, I walk in my room and lay down in bed. "Goodnight Nala" I say. My eyes look at her, she's deep asleep, every now and then she suddenly moves her paw or she starts licking her lips. I chuckle, sometimes I wish I was a cat, they have such easy lives and all they can do is sleep. My eyes are starting to feel a lot heavier and I slowly drift off to a deep sleep.
