Part 5 - Déjà vu

The days went by like crazy the next thing I knew I was standing at the airport saying goodbye to my two best friends. Key was there with me, he didn't want me to be alone, "You'll take care of her okay?" Juanhyu looks at Key, the boy nods and looks at me with a soft smile on his face, "Of course I'll take care of her, we will be best buddies" He chuckles and Juanhyu nods, he looks at me and wraps his arms around me tightly. "Please be careful Hanaji, don't fall into your old habits please" the last part he whispers, my throat gets blocked while tears are starting to well up in my eyes, I try to blink them away but it doesn't help. Slowly tears start rolling down my face, Juanhyu looks up as the voice over is calling for his flight. "Take care Hanaji" he ruffles my hair one last time and grabs Jamie her hand while they both walk away, Key looks at me and wraps his arms around me, my tears start rolling down like a river. My shoulders are shocking while loud cry noises are leaving my mouth.

"Have some water" Key hands me a small bottle with water, I take it thankfully my cheeks are still wet from the crying and Key has stayed with me the whole time. "Thank you for sticking around" I say while I take a sip of my water. Key smiles and shakes his head, "No problem really" He puts his hand on my back and rubs it softly, it's very calming.

My feet find their way to the meeting room I'm expected in, with still my head in the clouds I walk into the room. There are only a few people sitting at the table and there is an unfamiliar face, would he be my new manager? I recognize the CEO and greet him with a deep respectful bow, I also greet the other persons around the table and eventually sit down on one of the chairs. "Okay so it is sad to say that your old manager Mr Kang had to leave" the CEO begins, I sigh but nod slowly. I didn't only lost my manager I also lost my best friend, Juanhyu was like my partner in crime. He was the most amazing best friend you could ever wish for! But sometimes he was just a douche, but we all have those kind of moments, right?

"I'd like to introduce you to Mr Seo" The CEO says while pointing at the guy with the unfamiliar face. "Hi Hanaji, I'm looking forward to working with you" he says with a smile, I bow for him. "Let's make it a great time" I answer him and I shoot him a smile, he shakes my hand and then looks at the CEO. "We'll be taking a look at your agenda and we will be discussing some of your job opportunities," Mr Seo says while looking at a few papers that are right in front of him. I nod and try to look at the papers but I can't read anything. Will he be changing everything? Or do I have to remain it all? A sigh leaves my mouth why are there so many questions left unanswered?
Everyone leaves the room except for Mr Seo, he stays put and he looks at me. The door closes behind the CEO and he smiles towards me, "You can call me Dean for now" He smiles and he grabs a few papers from his bag, "I read about all your previous work and how you were managed by Mr Kang for years now until he decided to get you a contract for SM" he looks at me and I nod slowly per confirmation. My phone vibrates in my pocket but I ignore it, it's probably just a few text messages from who knows. "I also read in your contract that you'll be doing some work with SHINee as well" Dean begins, the guy was good looking that for sure, his brown eyes have a sparkle in it and it looks so adorable. "It was unclear for me what kind of work it meant and I asked the CEO for it and he answered you will be appearing in music videos and you might even date one of them." Dean says I look up at the word 'date.' Dean chuckles at my reaction, "The CEO would be happy if you dated one of them so they can get more publicity but he thought about it and thought you would look like a couple with Onew." Dean says I bite slowly my lip. "So I'm forced in a relationship with Onew?" I ask slowly, Dean shakes his head, "Don't call it forced, more like just try it out and see what happens" I stand up and shake my head, "I can't just date him, I want to date someone if I have feelings for that person!" I say while I look at Dean, "Dating is to get to know each other right and don't forget that it is in your damn contract" He says while also standing up, he looks at me. The look in his eyes has changed and he looks at me, I bite my lip and sit down again. "Look I know you are hurt over what Mr Kang pulled but you have to go on" Dean says while he walks over to me and sits down beside me, he puts his fingers under my chin and he lifts my head a little so I can look at him. His fingers feel soft under my skin and his touch makes me shiver a little, his eyes stare into my eyes and he has a small smile on his face. "Don't worry about it all for once okay? I'm here to guide you" Dean says while his face comes a bit closer, "Talk to Onew about it, he might consider it." My mouth opens, Dean smiles at me "What if I like someone other then Onew?" I say while I look at Dean, he sits straight and smiles "Then date him, you have permission to date someone, who is it?" He asks while he looks at me. A blush appears on my face, "No one important" I say while I blush like crazy.

"Hey, Hanaji!" Taemin screams as I close the door behind me, I turn around and smile softly at him, "Hi" I say with a soft voice, I immediately notice that Key isn't with them, nor is Minho. I wrap my arms around Taemin and I let him go, "Where is Key?" I ask while I hug Onew as well, the boys smile softly, "He's in the studio to record some things but I think he's there just to think about a few things" Onew says with a small smile, I nod and look at the boys. "I wanted to go to a bar do you guys want to come along?" I ask while I look at them, Taemin nods "Sure I know a nice place, it does have karaoke so I hope you can sing." Onew smiles and shakes his head, "I'm going to join Key for a second you guys can go alone."

Taemin holds the door open for me and he smiles, "Welcome in this small room" He chuckles and I look around, the room has a few instruments laying down for when you are singing. Taemin closes the door behind him and he smiles, "I'll order something to drink I'll be right back okay?" He smiles and I nod. I look at my phone and see that I received a few messages of Key.

K: Hi, I know you probably don't care but I need you. I heard about that you should date Onew. Do it, you guys would look good together.
K: Oh what am I even saying, don't mind me. I'm just saying nonsense.
K: Onew is here now, what a timing. He told me you are with Taemin now, don't do anything too crazy okay?

I bite my lip slowly, how on earth am I going to reply to this? My finger is hovering over the keyboard of my phone and a sigh leaves my mouth. Taemin walks back in, he has a few bottles of soju in his hands. "Let's have some fun shall we?" He smiles and I nod, I put away my phone and look at Taemin who opens the first bottle and pours us both a glass.

Taemin laughs as he takes another sip of his soju, we were both enjoying our time in here. We had a few duets and also solos. I'm still amazed by how good Taemin his voice is, he changes when he sings. It's like he is a whole other person on stage. Taemin grabs my hand "let's dance for a while okay?" He smiles softly, I nod and hold him. While a slow song is playing in the background we start dancing slowly, his hands around my waist and my hands around his neck. Taemin looks at me, his eyes are standing soft. It might be the alcohol or the moment we're in but somehow his face comes closer and his lips touch mine, leaving a soft and warm feeling around me.
