After a long, stressful day of working the last thing you wanted to do was go home and cook yourself dinner. Bruce was away for some intel project and the only company you had was your cat, so it's not like anyone would be disappointed with the microwave noodles you knew were waiting in the cupboard.
It also didn't help that you couldn't find your keys in your bag as you stood outside the door, and had a mini panic until you realised you'd put them in your pocket instead. So it was fair to say that as you walked in you were not the happiest little lamb.
With all this in mind the last thing you expected to smell when the door opened was spaghetti. Because why on earth would you?
Your first thought was 'burglar or murderer' but it didn't make sense that someone who had broken in would then start making a pasta dish; at least it had never happened on any cop shows you'd watched.
So even though you were 97% sure you weren't gonna die you grabbed an umbrella from the hall and slowly made your way to the kitchen. As you walked towards the door you heard a male voice singing along to a Taylor swift so that way playing quietly in the background. And you be the you recognised
