The Internship

Chapter Nine

It has been a month after the whole drama act with Jhope and Jisu, and Christmas was just around the corner. Snow was falling in Korea, and everyone was in a happy mood. Jisu was decorating her room with lights, and called in Jungkook for help

"Kookie! Can you come here please?"

Jisu shouted from her room, standing on the ladder and holding a stapler gun. Also trying to keep the lights up. Jungkook ran in, smiling, and wearing a santa hat on his head.

"What's up?"

Jisu climbed down the ladder, handing Jungkook the stapler gun.

"Can you please staple that up? My arm hurts from trying to staple it onto the wall."

Jungkook grabbed the staple gun, nodding. He climbed up the ladder, watching every step he took. As he got to the top. he put the lights in place, stapling quickly. He paused and looked down at Jisu.

"Come up here with me, I can't keep the lights in place here."

Jisu hesitated about both of them being on the ladder, shaking her head.

"I don't know if both of us can be up there together, Kookie."

Jungkook smirked, reaching his hand out to Jisu.

"Come on, we'll be fine."

Jisu slowly took his hand while stepping up to the ladder, climbing up to the top with Jungkook's help. As she got to the top, Jungkook held her back, making sure she doesn't fall.

"Alright, just pull the lights tight while holding it against the wall."

Jisu did as told, letting Jungkook staple them against the wall. Everytime she flinched from the noise, she felt his hand put pressure on her back, making sure she doesn't fall.

Jungkook finished with the last staple, setting the gun down. Jisu grinned, cheerfully speaking to Jungkook.

"Kookie, thank you so much!"

"No problem. Now lets get down and see how the lights look."

Jungkook climbed down first, along with Jisu going after. She ran to the plug, and plugged it into the outlet. All the lights lit up the room with color, blinking in synchronization. Jisu jumped excitedly while clapping.

"It's so pretty! I've always loved Christmas lights."

Jungkook smiled down at Jisu, putting his arm around her shyly.

"I'm glad you like it."

Jisu gave a cheesy grin to him, about to give him a hug, but was interrupted by Jimin loudly calling out to her.

"Jisu! Come on we have to buy the ornaments since I broke them!"

Suga called out as well in annoyance.

"Please get him out of here before I hurt him! I have to clean up his mess!"

Jisu sighed while grabbing her coat and beanie off the bed, walking out of the room. Jungkook sighed in frustration, muttering to himself.

"Dammit Jimin, you ruined my little moment."

Jimin and Jisu were inside the shop, observing all the ornaments. They already picked more than enough.

"Jimin, how did you break the ornaments?"

Jimin started snickering while explaining.

"Well i was opening the box, but I got frustrated. So I started tearing it open, and I dropped them all on the kitchen floor. The look on Yoongi's face was priceless."
