The other six boys stood in the hospital room with Jisu, as she sat on the edge of the bed. Her head was stitched up, along with a bandage wrapped over it.
“I feel like crap, and my whole body hurts in pain.”
She spoke up while groaning, giving a sigh. After no reply of any sort, she opened her mouth again.
“Is Hoseok okay? I didn’t get to see him after the crash. I don’t really remember much from it to be honest.”
Suga looked up, giving half a smile.
“He’ll be alright, no broken bones or concussions. Though he did have many open wounds from the glass cutting into his skin. They took care of him, and now he is resting up.”
“He also hurt himself more from helping you. You’d probably be in a coma right now from blood loss if he didn’t keep you safe.”
Jin added in, smiling.
Jisu gave a slight nod, returning the emotion.
“Oh that’s good. Can I go see him? I would like to thank him and all. What room is he in?”
She stood up on her feet, preparing to walk out. Suga stepped in, putting his hand up.
“Whoa wait a minute, you can’t leave right now. Your doctor said you have to stay in here, until it’s safe for you to leave. So I think-“
“But I can stand, I am talking perfectly, so there is nothing wrong, I am pretty sure it’s safe for me to leave this damn room.”
Jisu hissed at him, cutting off the sentence he spoke before. Suga became annoyed, speaking up.
“Listen, I’m not the one keeping you in here. All I’m doing is keeping you out of trouble, okay?”
Jin bumped into the conversation, trying to speak before Jisu made her remarks.
“Hey, why don’t you sit back down, relax. You can see him in a little bit, he’s not going anywhere, okay? Please?”
She glared at them both, slowly taking a seat back onto the bed. Jin gave a sigh to himself, going back to the corner of the room. Suga did the same, not wanting to become angry at the girl who just came out of a car accident.
It became silent, only the sounds of breathing. No one had anything to say really, except Jisu, who was thinking to herself.
‘I think I should tell them all instead of Jhope. I don’t think he could bare the news, while he’s in a state like that still. They won’t take it any better, but at least they can cope with it better. Hopefully. ‘
She looked up at the boys sitting there, looking around to fulfill their boredom. After thinking for a few more moments, she let her vocal chords speak her words.
“Hey you guys, I think I should tell you something. This has been on my mind for quite a while now, and I feel like you could understand.”
They all looked up in concern, listening to her voice run through their ears.
“What is it?”
“I….I thank you guys so much for letting me stay. You buying me clothes, feeding me, sheltering me, everything. But, I think I have overstayed my welcome. So I might be leaving back to America…”
She looked the other way while finishing her sentence, not wanting to look them in the eyes.
“What?! Go back to America?! Why? That’s not funny!”
