A/N:Contains description of Mavia Jackson.

I certainly wasn't expecting to imprint today and then have such a horrible day!

She was Bella's friend. I was shocked when I imprinted on her and couldn't stop staring . She had long black hair and eyes of such dark brown colour that they seemed almost black.

She seemed almost amused to see us. Her eyes sparkled as if she knew something we didn't. Imprint or not- I would have gotten a crush on her anyways. I tried focusing on the conversation.

" I had a run in with some vampires sometime ago and learned a few things about their world. Don't worry I hate the bloodsucker as much as you do." "Sorry Bella!" she added after a quick afterthought. I still didn't know her name!

"Did they hurt you? Are you fine?"I asked quickly.

"Yes I am new-guy-I-just-met!"she replied but after seeing my embarrassment added, "Very sweet of you to ask." and turned away. I could feel the heat rising up my cheeks.

"Don't worry buddy we know you are nervous . It will get better. By the way her name is Mavia Jackson, the exchange student Bella was talking about."Jacob told me telepathically.

Thats when I noticed Paul had challenged Mavia to a race! I growled at him and he just grinned back.

I was shocked that Mavia accepted the challenge. I was really worried about her- the jump could be dangerous was inexperienced people.

Mavia came up just a second before Paul but also of us were shocked! She beat a werewolf ! She didn't even look tired! I was about to smile when I saw her her blow a kiss at Paul.

I had to admit, I was jealous but Paul just looked at me apologetically.

To make it worse Paul sat next to her at the table and Jake hogged all her attention during the movie!

I couldn't believe my pack! Jake didn't even realise what he was doing until Embry nudged him!

Before I could talk to her she ran off with Bella to meet the Cullens. I hope nothing happens to her.

I might change my patrol schedule........
