Recap:
Mavia defeats Paul in the fight and wins the bet that she can fight against the newborn army .

POV: Mavia

The ride back to Jake's house was quiet, everyone wondering just how a human defeated a werewolf.

As soon as the vampires and werewolves entered the house , they began discussing their strategy and plans.

Abruptly Sam addressed me, " Mavia you will help Jake guard Bella."

I rolled my eyes and answered, " Sam I am not an idiot. I will go with Bella but there is nothing you can do to stop me from joining you guys."

He just continued to stare at me determined. Deciding I had had enough I turned to the room and changed the topic, " I can't stay with Bella anymore so just tell me the time I have to meet you guys tomorrow."

"Where will you stay?" Seth asked confused.

"At a hotel."

"Come by around 3 in the afternoon." said Sam.

The others turned back to their work satisfied but Seth continued to stare at me, apparently worried?

"Lemme drive you to the hotel."offered Seth.

I nodded a little reluctantly.

The drive to a hotel nearby was quiet. I just wondered how I would manage to find a place.
Manipulating the mist would be much harder considering Bella and Edward already know quite a lot. Maybe I could camp under sea by the beach.

The car came to a halt and I turned to Seth and said, " Thanks for the ride Seth."

"No problem Vi"

As soon as the car drove out off sight I walked upto the beach and dove in the sea to find a nice and quiet place.

The Next Day:

I walked in to Jake's house to find the wolves all huddled up around the dining table.

"Don't you guys have school?"after looking at Sam I added, "Or jobs?"

They just rolled their eyes at me as if it were answer enough.

Out if the corner of my eye I noticed Sam glaring at me.

"Mavia, where were you last night. I went up there to discuss the plan but the hotel had no one registered in your name." Sam finished with anger punctuating with each syllable.

I started mouth open at him , caught off guard.

"Mmm...I...I...I...I was at the beach." I said cringing.

"Huh?" Sam asked confused.

"I don't have money to stay in a hotel." I said shrugging.

The hostility morphed into guilty silence. I stared awkwardly while the guys just tried to find words.

"You can stay with me Vi." Jake offered smiling.

Unsure of how to react I just smiled and shrugged at him.

POV: Seth

I was so embarrassed. I couldn't even look at Vi after she confessed she spent the night out at the beach.

I mean I dropped her off! I didn't even realise she was in trouble. I desperately wanted to be the one to offer my place but I was too ashamed to do it.

I could see her talking to Sam and Jake out of the corner of my eye. I didn't know whether I should be hurt or grateful that she didn't come up to me.

Also I am really sorry for this suppeerrrr late update but I am an engineering student so I was really busy .

Also the only thing engineering is good for was for this excuse 😂.
