After a relaxing shower, George and I share many sweet kisses as we dry ourselves. I pull on the clothing George brought in for me. A white blouse with black polka dots, and a knee length flowing green skirt.
I turn around to look at him, "how do you manage to look so dashing in everything?" I ask, toying with his tie. "This is what I always wear, baby." He chuckles out, pulling me flush against himself.
I smile, "I know...but you would look amazing in anything..say..maybe only wearing a tie?" I grip his tie and pull him down face level with me.
He growls and slams me against the wall kissing my neck harshly, "you've got such a naughty mind, love. It's a wonder I'm not always on top of you."
I smile and press harder into him, gripping the hair at the nape of his neck, "why aren't you then?" He groans pleadingly as I feel his hardness against my stomach.
"I love you, _______. You're all mine... all mine..." he whispers feverishly against my warm skin. "I am...I'm all yours, Geo...yours to do with as you please...I love you.."
He stands back to look at me, holding me at his arms length. A happy grin highlighting his perfect face. "Let's get going now, eh love? Or I'll be trapping you in here all day..."
My body shivers deliciously at his threat, but I nod and stand on my tip toes to kiss him gently, "thank you for helping me forget for a while George...I really love you.."
"Anything for my girl..anything." He kisses me for a few seconds, then adjusts his tie to look presentable, even though we knew they heard the entire ordeal.
We step out of the bathroom, warm steam spiraling into the hall. Everyone is still waiting in George's room, faces flushed, except John, who sits on the bed propped against the wall.
John locks eyes with me, an intense feeling being electrified into my body. George notices and gives him a subtle nod. John grins wickedly for half a second, then stands. "Shall we get going lads?" John asks, fixing his tie, staring at me.
The others stand, and we head out to the car. Paul drives us this time, with Ritchie in the passenger seat. In the back John sits by the window, George is in the middle, and I'm by the other window, staring out trying to stay calm about the situation at hand.
I hear John and George whispering heatedly to one another, but I can't make out what they're saying. George's hand gently grips my knee, running his thumb comfortingly across it. I take a deep, shaking breath as we pull into my drive.
With trembling fingers I open the door and get out, John and George following suit. Ritchie and Paul walking in front of us. "We're going to check outside here." Ritchie motions to the house, "to make sure no ones waiting to ambush us."
George nods and turns to John, "will you go in first and give us the all clear?" John nods curtly, gazing into my eyes for a second before heading in.
George leans against the car, pulling me into a warm embrace and rubbing my back softly. He succeeds in lowering my tension, but not my worry.
"It'll be okay, love." He whispers, moving a strand of hair behind my ear. "As long as I'm with you, I know it will be so.." I say, kissing his jaw. We wait patiently for the okay.
John clears his throat and I turn, "it's all clear. Let's head in." I straighten myself up, and grip George's hand tightly. I look to the darkening sky, and swallow hard, not knowing what I'm going to be finding out.
We step through the threshold and I sprint straight for my telephone. I dial my Aunt's number. It rings a few times, but no one picks up. My skins prickles with dread.
I go to the front door, gathering the mail out of the slot. My heart hammering in my chest as I sort through the many envelopes.
Mostly adverts from local businesses, an envelope from the school I applied to, a distant thought of if I was accepted or not quickly passed through my thoughts, and last, a yellowing, very old envelope addressed to me.
My mouth goes dry as I sit at the dining table. My fingers trembling as I delicately tear the seal open. There was no return address, but I'd recognize the handwriting anywhere. My Aunt's beautiful cursive flowed across the page. It read:
My dear, ________,
If you're receiving this letter, it cannot be good. I don't know if we'll see each other again, so I must say what I must, here and now.I do hope you've found them by now, if not this is going to be very dangerous for you. If you have found them, please send my regards. Especially your little Georgie, he is quite the gentleman.
I digress, this situation is of the utmost importance. You must start preparing, as to not meet the same fate as your last life.
You see my darling, as the Fountain of Life you are very much sought after in our community. The vampire that makes blood, can also cure sterility in other vampires, making you quite the commodity.
My sweet girl, you must know now. You are 22 years old, but you will no longer age. This will be how you always are. Young and beautiful, unless they get you.
They took your parents when you were young, just a sweet naive 11 year old girl. They took them from you, before they could explain what you were and how to stay safe. They almost lost their minds the first time they lost you, they couldn't handle it again, but alas, they were found and taken. They hid you very well, however. They didn't know where you were, since your parents entrusted me from the beginning.
My sweet, sweet girl..I'm so sorry you've received this...it means they're on the trail..you've got to take extreme caution...learn to fight.
And most importantly, cover your scent! You smell like the sweetest of wines to all vampires. You're a blazing fire in the dead of winter. They will do anything to have you back again..
Under the floorboards in my old room, there's a vial of clear liquid. Using it as perfume will cover up the scent of your blood, for a short while.
Sweet ______, I went to America with a few vials of your blood to throw them off...but it seems they've caught up to me..I must go now. Please protect yourself, protect your boys.
I love you always, my dear. Farewell, I will always love you. -Aunt Terese
P.s. Destroy this letter as soon as you've read it.
My eyes lift from the page, filled with tears. I hadn't noticed Paul and Ritchie come in. George gently takes the letter from me, and the lads gather around and read it together.
George helps me stand, and leads me to the sitting room. He tosses the letter into the fireplace and lights it. It disappears in seconds, as I watch, I feel a sense of sadness. Almost as if my Aunt burned along with it. George hugs me close, "we're going to protect you, my little darling. I won't let them have you again."
We head upstairs and remove the floorboard, revealing a glass vial of the clear liquid, just as my Aunt told me about.
I turn to George, "can we stay here tonight? Just one last time...before I must leave it forever.." he nods, gently caressing my cheek.
Paul takes the vial, "I'm going to hold on to this. So we know where it's at."
We nod and I stand. "I'm taking a bath...I need to relax after this overload of...information.." I kiss George sweetly. "You can wait in my room."
I head down the hall to the bathroom, mind spinning with unease and thoughts of what the future will hold.
